The right person for this role is excited to make an impact on our systems and how we do business. To that end, you thrive on understanding complex problems ranging over multiple teams, bringing forward solutions, and executing those projects. If you are excited to sit at the intersection of our Systems, Sales Operations, Channel, Web, and Marketing, we want you as our Solutions Architect.

The Job:

  • Work with stakeholders across sales, customer support, marketing and finance to provide complex technical solutions and manage expectations

  • Evaluate pros and cons of technical solutions to solve business problems

  • Provide technical guidance to junior team members

  • Work with external parties when needed

  • Understand Formlabs' end-to-end business processes and perform functional testing of those processes when required

  • Gather requirements and improve business processes


  • Look to improve your skills and learn more about emerging technologies

  • Communicate clearly with a wide range of non-technical and technical stakeholders

  • Enjoy self-driven projects and owning your own tasks, while still executing on a shared timeline

  • Are excellent at both solving a problem and then executing the solution

  • Have a keen attention to detail

  • Troubleshoot issues, communicate impact to users, and define steps to reproduce to developers when required

  • Are very comfortable working with relational databases. You understand database design very well and have excellent SQL skills.


  • Background in software development. You have written code in the past.

  • Experience working with Netsuite, Magento, or Salesforce

  • Experience with eCommerce and integrations

  • Knowledge of best practices for data management

Essential Functions: * Support business development activities within the maritime domain Research & Analysis * Gather and analyze competitive intelligence on firms active in the maritime defense market to feed Black Hat analyses, Price-to-Win build outs and strategic plans * Assist in the construction of market analyses and financial business cases * Track federal budget data and associated defense bill activity to facilitate congressional interactions, opportunity identification and market sizing * Remain abreast of industry developments and impacts to L3Harris key pursuits * Serve as resident expert in CI and market analysis tools including DACIS, GOVWIN and Avascent * Participate in multi-disciplined, cross-company capture teams assembled to support strategic pursuits and proposals Reporting * Utilize CRM and other analytical methods to derive metrics and reports on the maritime sector's opportunity pipeline * Compile division level presentations to create monthly and quarterly sector overviews of orders, proposal activity, pursuits and customer engagement * Produce ad-hoc reports on topics including market size, platform content, proposal activity and orders pipeline Qualifications: REQUIRED * Bachelor's Degree (Business, Economics, Engineering, International Relations or other related discipline) * 5 - 7 years' experience in a related analytical role (business development, strategy, finance, engineering, consulting) * Solid understanding of marketing and finance/accounting principles * Sufficient background to understand and communicate basic engineering concepts * Desire to learn about the defense industry and maritime domain to include submarines, surface ships, autonomous systems and associated technologies * Strong analytical and interpersonal skills (written, oral and presentation) * Excellent organizational skills * High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookups, Logic Statements, Charting) PREFERRED * Master's Degree (Business, Engineering, or International Relations or other related discipline) * 5 - 7 years' experience in a related analytical role (business development, strategy, finance, engineering, consulting) * Advanced understanding of marketing and finance/accounting principles * Working knowledge of defense industry, preferably the maritime domain, to include submarines, surface ships, autonomous systems and associated technologies * Sufficient background to understand and communicate basic engineering concepts * Experience with database management, SharePoint, CRM, data queries, SQL or other language * US DoD Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain Travel Yes, 25 % of the Time L3harris Somerville MA
