Clarion Partners is looking for a Business Solutions Analyst to work closely with the Portfolio Finance team and provide solutions to meet their business needs. A successful candidate is result-driven, customer-service focused, motivated, able to communicate effectively and has strong quantitative and analytical skills.
Manage the projects related to the investor reporting, daily valuation and other applications to support Portfolio Finance initiatives, such as launching a new fund.
Gather and analyze requirements and define scope of new projects. Create documentation such as functional requirements, user stories, UI design, project plans, status reports, test scripts, and training documentation.
Establish a strong rapport with the business users, and manage expectations
Lead the project team, including developers and testers throughout the system development lifecycle and drive the project delivery.
Conduct system testing of designed or modified products
Ensure that the new builds are successfully tested and deployed using a change control process.
Support business users in producing monthly and quarterly client reports
Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Accounting, or Finance
2+ years of relevant experience in business analysis or project management
Demonstrated experience as a business analyst of financial and accounting applications.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, Visio; highly skilled in using Excel.
Strong organizational skills and communication skills including the ability to actively listen, problem solve, and communicate effectively with both technical and business users.
Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Detail oriented with the ability to work independently
Ability to adapt to a changing environment and multi-task assignments
SQL query capabilities and an understanding of relational databases
Background in commercial real estate, accounting or financial software
Familiarity with MRI Real Estate Solutions
Exposure to client relationship management
Familiarity with investor statement production and distribution
Project Management and QA experience
