Summary of Role
The Senior Business Consultant proactively leads, manages and executes the disciplined sales process from start to finish pursuing infrastructure renewal and construction opportunities. They will establish strategic relationships and have a vision for developing a committed customer, anticipating customer needs and requirements ensuring that they are met every step of the way from sale to execution. The role will be expected to deliver profitable growth in the form of new customers and new opportunities; with results above the set quota in support of Annual Operating Plan
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a passionate and driven Senior Business Consultant to be a key member of the sales team, using your sales experience and technical knowledge to provide customers with market leading smart building HVAC/ security solutions. The desire to achieve sales targets and ability to succeed in a fast-paced and highly matrixed environment is critical.
You will be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge of the customers' business, strategic drivers, financial requirements in order to discuss and leverage strategic business value in conversation at the highest levels of the organization. You will also be able to collaborate internally with multiple functions across the organization to ensure delivery of high quality customer propositions and have a structured approach, using a robust Management Operating System (MOS) to ensure all essential sales forecasting and reporting requirements are fulfilled on time.

YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales, in lieu of a degree minimum of 8 years of experience in technical sales
Valid driver's license
Track record of success in selling building solutions, preferably in the Electrical, Smart Building, Fire, Security or Heating sectors
Well-connected within the Construction and Supply sector with the ability to re-open doors immediately upon joining the business.
Validated experience prospecting for opportunities and proven previous customer acquisition experience
Intelligent and articulate with excellent presentation skills
Experience of using modern sales CRM systems
A confident communicator able to build mutually beneficial customer relationships
