Business Risk Analyst

Your role

Are you incredibly organized with an eye for detail? Do you have a high client service orientation and a strong risk awareness?

Act as a point of contact and subject matter expert in the operational risk framework and identification of risk which includes:

• provide guidance to ensure the timely and accurate assessment, capture and maintenance of Operational Risk issues. Track Risk Events, Emerging Risks, and Non-Financial Risk Issues
• coordinating key procedural control assessments and the timely closure of risk packets
• support and challenge functional teams in determination of sustainable remediation activities to address operational risk issues and audit actions.
• work with global teams to deliver and monitor progress in risk remediation activities.
• provide key stakeholders with timely and accurate reporting of all operational risk related items and events.
• prepare materials and participate in Risk forums. Support implementation of key controls.
• help design and document control processes and procedures and identify, evaluate and mitigate risks for deficient controls.

Your expertise

• Bachelor's Degree
• willingness and ability to learn UBS Risk Management policies.
• experience in an Operations environment.
• strong Organizational skills - understanding of what it takes to run successful projects in financial services
• proficiency in MS Office with advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
• strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills - knows how to interact with stakeholders at all levels
• self-motivated - willing to take ownership of an issue and drive to closure
• ability to prioritize daily tasks and meet agreed objectives within tight deadlines
• team player - works well in a team, experience building networks and connections, and working collaboratively across functions to manage regulatory risk
• audit/Risk Management and digital platforms experience a plus
