Job Description:

The Business Relationship Management Senior Manager provides leadership, ownership and accountability for the relationship from the PepsiCo Foodservice organization to PepsiCo IT. The Senior Manager will shape business demand and define solution concepts, serving as the single contact point for leaders PepsiCo's Equipment Service (PES) and with additional support for the Foodservice Sales (FS) functions. This leadership role includes working directly with Business and IT Leadership teams, to formulate and drive solutions, while communicating direction, status and options. The Senior Manager will work with a small team of professional BRMs to capture requirements, analyze and provide high-level solution designs, advancing new capability/functionality for the PES Business area.

The role closely collaborates and partners with PepsiCo's IT Development & Delivery and Operations organizations to deliver creative, high quality and innovative business solutions and ensure operational continuity and value realization for years to come.

Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Partners with Senior Business sponsors to formulate Business Case goals, shape business technology value realization vision leveraging PepsiCo's Strategic Plans and Annual Operating Plans.

  • Supports development of Strategic Business Capability Roadmap (i.e., defines the case for change, gains investment approval, identifies pursuit opportunities)

  • Act as the principal technology advisor to the Business and a champion for identifying, leading and driving information technology transformation

  • Lead, coach and partner with Business Analysts (BA) in the collection and definition of business requirements, helping to identify and define critical business processes, guide the solution and high level wireframe design.

  • Function as a major contributor in the IT Annual Operating Plan development process as well as the Out of Cycle funding process and help secure project estimates from Development / Delivery team and the Operate team.

  • Define, capture and measure both pre and post-deployment Value Realization for all initiatives.

  • Participate in solution strategy planning and application analytics, providing "out of the box" thinking to identify new opportunities to innovate and create lasting capability, ensuring IT Enterprise Architecture alignment.

  • Act as a liaison between third party solution providers and Business Teams, working closely with both to advance new features, innovative technology to deliver enhanced functionality and capability.

  • Collaborate with IT and Business leaders in a matrixed organizational structure to provide innovative, quality solutions which exceed business goals and expectations

  • Help create SOWs working with D&D team partners, incorporating aligned requirements, PPM Charter Documents and leading respective meetings to ensure understanding and alignment

Qualifications/Requirements

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, Business, or similar field
  • 12+ years IT experience in roles of increasing scope and responsibility including Business Relationship Management, Business Analysis, IT Leadership and IT Strategy development

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Broad understanding of Business and IT functions in the CPG industry and processes along with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to listen, build rapport, and credibility as a strategic partner vertically within the business unit or function, as well as with leadership and functional teams

  • Able to communicate technical or complex subject matter to senior-level leaders in business terms

  • Highly self-motivated individual, with a track record of driving competing & conflicting priorities

  • Demonstrated experience gathering, analyzing, distilling and summarizing Business requirements

  • Ability to Attract, Lead, Coach and Develop a team of high caliber IT professionals setting objectives and leading day to day to deliver results

  • Strategic thinker focused on business value results that utilize technical solutions

  • Ability to set expectations with business partners and effectively use governance for a positive business partner experience

  • Highly skilled at crafting business requirements documents, use cases, user acceptance test plans, process flow and data flow diagrams

  • Understands the IT industry, e.g. new technologies and trends, industry standards, solution architecture, and the vendor landscape

  • Experience with application configuration, setup, integration and support in order to help with estimation and return on investment analysis
