This is for a contract opportunity that could possibly turn into a full time position.

Accountable for timely project completion and delivery. Analyzes work plans and makes recommendations for improved processes. Prepares financial analyses to support and assess project/program financial impact.

The project manager is responsible for planning, work plans, financial impacts with business capabilities.

Proficient in all of microsoft.

Must have 2-4 years of professional experience, prefer local candidates.

Primary Responsibilities: * Define performance and results and assist management with vendors and service providers * Presentations for management regarding updates, cycles, results and ensure projects are completed on time and within scope * Ensure alignment and understanding of program / project scope and objectives with the organization's strategic objectives and the Voice of the Customer, in consultation with applicable stakeholders * Provide project direction and performance feedback to the team or their leadership throughout the project, as appropriate * Monitor and report progress throughout the project life cycle, using appropriate project planning and scheduling tools (e.g., dashboards, metrics) * Apply project life cycle methodology and tools (e.g., IHI model, PDSA) to drive project quality * Identify root causes of substandard project outcomes and recommend appropriate resolutions * Assist in data collection, reporting, and other project duties as assigned * Delegate project tasks based on team members' individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels; including roles and responsibilities * Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short - and long - term goals and deliverables * Ensure that project schedules include all tasks and activities necessary to achieve project objectives * Ability to plan out an initiative from inception to completion Required Qualifications * BA / BS degree (or higher) in Business or related field and / or equivalent degree. * 2 years of experience in tracking, planning projects, working with large data sets and making data - driven analytical decisions * Advanced level of proficiency with MS Project (ability to navigate), Access (manage data within), Excel (pivot tables, Vlookup), Visio (navigate, and create basic work flows), PowerPoint (create presentations) and SharePoint(navigate, and upload) * Experience working with and leading cross - functional teams and projects Preferred Qualifications * Healthcare and Quality Experience * Experience with HEDIS and NCQA * Working with Medicare and Medicaid population experience * Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality Certification (CPHQ) or Lean background strongly preferred * Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar Certification Soft Skills * Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Ability to influence and work with internal and external stakeholders / resources to move projects and programs forward and overcome any challenges * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal * Self - directed, independent and track record of initiation * Possess strong listening skills, demonstrated by high level of responsiveness and follow through * Comfortable working through ambiguity toward clarity around data specifications and sources * Demonstrated ability to analyze metrics, summarize key business learning, and translate into tactical plans and report to executive level management * Demonstrated ability to lead, influence change, initiate and shape work with colleagues inside and outside the organization to achieve goals * Demonstrated ability to influence non - direct reports, both internally and externally * Demonstrated ability to make recommendations and implement quality improvement interventions based on results of projects. Converts data into useable information, and measures the impact of improvement initiatives. * Knowledge of descriptive and inferential statistics * Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely at all levels (leadership) * Demonstrated understanding of quality theory, data collection, analysis and study design; ability to track and display data; ability to design, implement and evaluate interventions required * Demonstrated commitment to continuous quality improvement in all aspects of work.
