Job Summary

The Project Manager III is responsible for the design, development and implementation of projects. The Project Manager III provides tactical management of project execution as defined in applicable project or program plan. The incumbent ensures project deliverables meet or exceed stakeholder expectations and corporate quality requirements, are produced on time and are within budget. The incumbent is also expected to manage and lead multiple projects concurrently as assigned. Further, the Project Manager III will provide coaching, guidance and mentoring to other team members supporting project initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manages activities associated with a project, ensuring business solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and meet corporate standards.

  • Creates, revises and maintains project and resource plans, as well as schedules and budgets required to meet project requirements.

  • Communicates effectively and consistently with all project team members.

  • Escalates issues quickly and appropriately to appropriate designee.

  • Ensures successful deployment of product/service, including internal implementation and business readiness activities for external launch.

  • Actively leads project teams to execute projects, demonstrating sound judgment, critical thinking skills, leadership and a sense of urgency.

  • Initiates and actively facilitates team meetings and issue resolution involving the right parties to resolve problems.

  • Effectively manages team to complete projects, including coaching, delegating, providing feedback and resolving conflicts and problems.

  • Fosters a team environment of shared ownership in the execution of the project.

  • Ensures adherence to standard project time reporting, quality practices and audit compliance.

  • Analyzes and communicates project or program status using standard and specific project management analysis techniques for budget and schedule variance.

  • Maintains and keeps up to date all project relevant budget, schedule, and resource information.

  • Ensures the completion of standard project communications and deliverables such as project charters, issue logs, risk management and implementation plans.

  • Analyzes current and new project management processes and procedures to identify the most efficient and inexpensive ways to complete projects to meet the business and stakeholder objectives.

  • Participates in either formal or informal education on project management practices at MGI and in the industry.

  • Establishes and maintains a strong partnership with internal customers to fully understand the business and their business needs.

  • Evaluates and makes recommendations to improve organizational effectiveness and customer service, reduce costs and provide a competitive advantage.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Any combination of relevant education and experience and/or related professional designations/certifications in this field is highly desirable.

Education

  • Minimum Required: BA/BS degree or equivalent relevant experience

  • Project Management certification, preferred

Experience

  • 5 years' documentable project management experience.

  • Ability to gather and interpret customer/end-user requirements.

  • Ability to establish strong working relationships across business lines and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to facilitate identification and resolution of project risks and issues.

  • Ability to create process flows/instruction manuals; end user training tools.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

  • Ability to create ad-hoc reports/queries to support internal and external customers.

  • Knowledge of SQL- database, preferred.

  • Accounting/financial analysis experience, preferred.

Position Summary The Senior Director, Business Value Management Office (BVMO) will develop and drive strategic sales enablement initiatives to support Total Expert's exponential growth plans in strategic market segments. The main objective is to further develop Total Expert's financial value-based selling methodology and to educate and coach Total Expert's direct sales organization on how to implement this methodology successfully into target accounts. This may include the facilitation of customer-facing business value workshops. The position reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and will work very closely with Sales Management, Product Management, Marketing, Executive Management, as well as the Field Sales teams. This position will ultimately build and lead the Business Value Management Team (BVM). Key Responsibilities and Deliverables * Create and manage the Business Value Management Office (BVMO) whose charter it is to deliver world-class C-level Executive proposals and presentation materials with improved strategic messaging and content targeting C-level economic buyers. * Build Financial Impact Analysis, ROI Analysis, and Comparative TCO Tools. * Conduct customer-facing business value assessment workshops in key prospect accounts as needed. * Develop content, training materials, and sales enablement programs for key target verticals. * Develop and improve competitive positioning and messaging to enable the sales team. * Innovate Total Expert's Best Practice Sales Methodology, Project Plan, and Close Plan. * Develop and maintain a comprehensive BVM-Sales Process Guide, BVM-Resource Library and Cheat Sheets, as well as BVM-Coaching Guidelines for Sales Management. * Develop a process to go into our existing and future install base and measure and quantify the tangible and intangible value we have delivered for our customers so this data can be re-purpose for Marketing, Sales, and Product Management. * Work with Marketing to develop value-based messaging for targeted account/industry penetration. * Work with Sales Management to help design field sales campaigns against targeted verticals for competitive pursuits. * Provide program management (BVMO) support for key initiatives focused on driving incremental revenue, including assisting with territory development & expansion planning.
