The Information Protection and Governance (IPG) team is on a mission to earn customer trust and enable sales by relentlessly protecting data and business resiliency within the Microsoft Enterprise & Services organization, and this role is critical to help shape our data protection initiatives.

With proven operational experience and excellent program management skills, the primary focus for the Business Program Manager role is to surface systemic data protection issues, and drive change and process improvements that prevent issue reoccurrence. These efforts strengthen our ability to protect the data that customers share with Microsoft by addressing underlying root causes.

  • 5-7 years progressive work experience applying analytical methods to business problems, driving improved decision-making and outcomes

  • BA/BS degree, or equivalent experience, with a Masters' strongly preferred

  • Certified Prosci Change Management Practitioner, CCMP (Certified Change Management Professional) or equivalent change management methodologies preferred

  • Proven successful prioritization, problem solving, cross-group, and cross-cultural collaboration skills, with the ability to identify systemic issues, determine root cause, collect data from various sources and determine an acceptable resolution.

  • Demonstrated ability to work and affect change in ambiguous situations and across organizational boundaries

  • Exceptional customer focus and project management skills able to interact and contract professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts

  • Ability to understand, analyze, and communicate the implications of systemic issues and required resolutions.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex problems succinctly.

Location: You will be based in Issaquah, WA, near Microsoft HQ.

We are looking for a strong Business Process Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for specific data management functions within the Microsoft Revenue Reporting, MS Sales, application. This includes ensuring the data integrity, security, quality, and support of the tools. The ideal candidate will be able to leverage their own resources to identify and implement cost effective changes to existing systems/processes as well as collaborate with other groups to deliver solutions within tight timeframes in collaboration with other groups.
