This role spans many disciplines including operational finance, data analytics, vendor management and cross-functional leadership. The ideal candidate should have demonstrated success in analyzing financial status by collecting, monitoring and studying data and developing a quantitative dashboard that drives business results and recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts

  • Guides cost analysis process by providing trends and forecasts

  • Reconciles transactions by comparing and analyzing data

  • Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses

  • Manages large data set and understands data analysis tools

  • Manages and presents data in ways that help drive better business decisions

  • Execute daily tasks that support the operational financial framework of our travel business

  • Analyze financial, redemption, inventory, and other data and produce meaningful reporting

  • Maintain financial and process controls around travel redemption activity

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a data analyst, operational finance or in related a field

  • Ability to analyze data and assess potential risks

  • Ability to perform statistical and competitive analysis

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional internal and external teams

  • Problem solver with project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities

  • Analytical thinker with ability to interpret results and site metrics to drive change

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Unafraid to be thrown into new projects that will stretch your skills

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required

  • Travel industry experience a plus

  • Experience working within an Agile framework a plus

As a Pega Software Engineer, this person will design, develop, test and implement workflow application in Pega 8 platform. The role will require rapid application prototyping with direct user interaction. Key Responsibilities: * Hands on development on Pega PRPC platform. * Identify opportunities for process and tool improvements; drive them from concept to implementation. * Adhere to Development standard throughout design, development and testing and incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications. * Work with product owner and stakeholders on agreeing on refining business requirements and acceptance criteria. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: * BS/BA degree or equivalent experience * Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines * Understanding of architecture and design across all systems * Working proficiency in developmental toolsets * Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices * Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture * Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement * Experience within a large-scale or global enterprise, with core competency with Pega PRPC platform. Minimum of 4 years hands on experience with Pega PRPC platform (7.2 and higher)- Preferred CSSA certified. Experience designing and developing process based solutions or BPM (business process management). Experience in working on various rules and features like Flows, Activities, User Interface, Flow Actions, Agents, SLA, Correspondence, Security, Reports, Listeners (File, MQ), Connectors etc * Experience in full PRPC implementation cycle including enterprise Class Structure design and Rulesets design. Strong JAVA development experience; Otherwise solid experience in other Object oriented language. Participate in an Agile / Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases * Good understanding of doing integration with third party APIs (Webservices, JSON, REST, XML etc.). Understanding of web concepts such as HTTP, SSL/TLS, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
