Job Description

Houlihan Lokey is seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded Business Process Manager to join the Digital Product team. This is a new role within Product focused on Program & Process management. You will be an integral part of our new and growing team, playing a hands-on role in shaping our business's function and strategic direction.

In this role, you will play a key function in our discovery and transformation process. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, collaborating to identify projects that optimize our business processes and align with our strategic business goals. Your work will play a critical part in supporting the overall strategy, enabling us to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and drive sustainable growth across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support our discovery and transformation process by conducting research and documenting user insights across various groups

  • Work closely with business partners to create process maps of critical workflows to identify optimization opportunities

  • Work collaboratively to design new processes and cross-functional ways of working to achieve strategic outcomes

  • Develop, implement and maintain business processes, while monitoring their impact using metrics

  • Facilitate effective communication and training sessions for teams, supporting them through transitions and ensuring the successful adoption of new process changes

  • Oversee the progress of strategic projects and support the preparation of business cases and presentation materials to drive decision-making

  • Utilize problem-solving skills to manage and contribute to strategic projects effectively, from defining problems, scoping, and analyzing data to preparing and presenting actionable solutions

  • Build and nurture strong advisory relationships with key external and internal stakeholders, fostering a culture of collaboration and influencing senior leaders with insights and recommendations

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Strategic Planning and Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop a comprehensive roadmap that aligns product goals with HL's vision and objectives

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Exhibit strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with other teams and drive collective success

  • Advanced Data Analysis and Problem-Solving: Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex data adeptly, derive insightful analysis using tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.), and make informed decisions that drive success in overcoming challenges and resolving conflicts

  • Process Improvement: Skilled in understanding and analyzing complex processes and adept at creating clear and concise process maps using tools, such as Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, etc.

  • User-Focus: User-centric mindset, prioritizing understanding and addressing user pain points to deliver value and ensure an exceptional user experience

  • Communication: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas, present product plans, gather feedback, and engage stakeholders

  • Project Management: Ability to manage all aspects of a project, from developing comprehensive plans and key milestones to proactively addressing challenges, ensuring stakeholder alignment and delivering outstanding results

  • Results-Oriented: Commitment to driving successful outcomes, taking ownership and being accountable for delivering tangible results that align with organizational goals

  • Adaptability: Exhibit flexibility and adaptability, adeptly navigating shifting priorities and evolving business landscapes with agility to drive continuous improvement

  • Prioritization: Display effective time management and task prioritization, consistently meeting deadlines, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and ensuring focused efforts on key initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in business process optimization/operations, management consulting, investment banking, or a similar role within the financial services industry

  • Proven ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive leadership

  • Proven ability to lead with influence, fostering a positive work environment, while driving impactful results

Salary Range

Houlihan Lokey is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive total compensation package, which may include other components such as discretionary incentive compensation. The firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible salary range for this role at the time of posting is:

$125,000.00-$175,000.00

Actual salary at the time of hire may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant qualifications, skills, and experience and the location where this position may be filled.
