Copart is looking to hire a Business Process Development Specialist. Responsibilities include the ability to create and modify standard operating procedures, conduct audits to measure adherence to business processes, user acceptance testing (UAT) and give effective feedback to field offices to supply areas of opportunity for improvement.

Individuals in the role will provide support to internal customers regarding compliance to performance standards, best practices, routine inquiries, and process improvement. Help to pre-plan the acquisitions of existing auto auctions both domestically and internationally. The Business Support Specialist will provide training on technical and on other aspects of the business. Some travel (up to three weeks at one time) may be required to support the integration of acquired facilities or the opening of new facilities.

  • Review the performance of business units regarding compliance to time standards, business requirements, and documentation

  • Review workflow to analyze root causes of bottlenecks, and other barriers to effectiveness and efficiency

  • Perform the SQR (System Quality Reviews)

  • Perform UAT testing for the enterprise system

  • Update and maintain the Facility Operations Manual website using WordPress, HTML, & CSS

  • Create and distribute weekly communication to internal customers with policy and procedure updates, as well as SharePoint blog posts and other scheduled updates

  • Work closely with IT to ensure any new process or technical change is tested and articulated to the field. Will work to create any applicable training materials as well

  • Handle all business integrations and acquisitions domestically, and assist the Global Business team internationally as needed

  • Will work on multiple projects as assigned by VP of Corporate Operations and the COO

  • College education preferred

  • A minimum of one-year experience

  • Previous Team Leadership a plus

  • Detail-oriented and organized with strong multitasking and time-management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with multiple lines of business and technical teams

  • The individual must be comfortable adapting to change.

  • Flexibility regarding changes in project requirements and shifting priorities

  • Work independently with minimal guidance & supervision.

  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows Outlook and Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel

  • Previous knowledge of WordPress, HTML, and CSS are preferred

  • Ability to travel up to 10% per year
