Join our dynamic team at TaylorMade as a Sales and Service Business Architect and play a pivotal role in driving innovation and business excellence. We are seeking a talented and passionate individual who can bring a unique blend of business acumen, best in class sales and service process design experience from a leading company, and leadership to help shape the future of our sales and customer support functions.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative services that align with our business strategies, to extend TaylorMade's leadership. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of conceptualizing and implementing best-in-class processes and will drive continuous improvement in collaboration with cross-functional teams. While the role will work closely with IT, it is not an IT role.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

Business Strategy Alignment:

  • Understand business strategies and execution models for sales and service.

  • Develop best in class business architectures, leveraging your skills and experiences from a company with leading sales and service practices.

  • Identify changes and implications across functional domains.

Develop Business Architecture & Operating Models:

  • Evaluate key business strategies, objectives, and measurements.

  • Build, align, and maintain reference and target business architecture and capability models.

  • Develop operating models and utilize them to guide teams to achieve sales and service excellence.

  • Communicate the "art of the possible" for sales and service processes.

  • Advise on options, risks, costs vs. benefits, and impacts.

  • Research and identify enabling solutions based on business capability needs.

  • Identify opportunities to drive a superior customer experience as a differentiator and source of growth.

Strategic Partnership & Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with business leaders to define global capabilities.

  • Develop trusted internal customer relationships.

  • Manage global cross-functional teams and vendor relationships.

  • Consult with IT Architects and cross functional teams to develop alternative solution options.

  • Disseminate new knowledge and ideas.

Process Optimization:

  • Drive global process and systems harmonization.

  • Track and rationalize process and system deviations.

  • Align roadmap capabilities across functions and regions.

  • Drive process and tool innovation leveraging tools such as artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Education, Training, Professional Certification and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred in business, engineering, or IT.

  • Must have 8+ years of experience conceptualizing, developing, and implementing best in class sales and services processes. Must have demonstrated experience at a company noted for sales and service excellence.

  • 3+ years in portfolio, program, project and change management, balancing and leading the prioritization of new project efforts.

  • 2+ years of experience of enterprise-class architecture concepts, definition, and creation; PMI Certification for Project or Program Management; 5+ years of business or technical consulting experience; and 2+ years of data analysis and use of visualization tools.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Demonstrated best in class business architecture experience with a leading company to develop sales and service architectures and processes.

  • Hand on experience integrating people, process, and technology. For sales this includes opportunity assessment, value demonstration, and value delivery worldwide across multiple channels.

  • Develop operating models: conceptualize and enable new and improved sales and service processes, drive improvements to forecasting, demand management and revenue planning, identify business intelligence and sales analytics opportunities, and utilize customer relationship management processes to improve productivity and customer experience.

  • Business-focused leadership with the ability to translate vision into deliverables.

  • Confidence, integrity, and critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to thrive in global, cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Strong collaboration and influence across diverse teams.

  • Strong project and change management expertise.

  • Data analytics and modeling skills; proficiency in visualization tools.

  • Passion for golf

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

  • Normal office conditions, heavy computer use

  • Must be able to work extended hours, holidays and weekends as needed.

  • Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials with the ability to move up to 50 pounds.

TaylorMade is a performance driven organization and our total rewards approach to compensation is designed to support this. We consider many factors in determining base compensation, including position scope, job related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. The expected annual base pay range for this position is $135,000 - $145,000. Additional benefits, such as health & wellness, performance bonuses, product discounts, holidays, paid time off, etc. may also be offered in accordance with our plans.
