The Business Process Architect role will be responsible for business process management and improvements across multiple organizations within Kasasa covering all aspects of customer engagement lifecycle Quote to Cash, Customer Success, Revenue Recognition and all supporting internal business processes. Additionally, the architect is responsible to offer guidance and support with process strategies, build process changes, review proposed process changes and implement these changes through collaboration with all stakeholders.
Business process gap analysis Investigate and document current business processes and what needs to change to support future business state/requirements.
Business process impact analysis Analyze proposed process changes with a risk and benefits analysis and present to stakeholders prior to implementing changes
Business process roadmap Work with key stakeholders to build roadmap and maintain awareness of long-term business process developments as they relate to internal processes, customer engagement, and strategic objectives of the organization.
Coordinate and lead planning meetings Organize regular meetings with the organizational wide stakeholders to identify/discuss business process roadmap, opportunities, problems and improvements.
Build, document, modify and maintain actual business processes used within Kasasa for review, testing and approval by the key stakeholders and senior management.
Business Process opportunity assessment Identify opportunities to evaluate where processes could be improved through workshops, meetings, interviews with key process stakeholders
Provide technical expertise, problem resolution and support in the design and development of reports to measure and report on process improvements utilizing varied software applications and Microsoft Excel.
Provide technical support for help desk issues and monitor issues to recommend enhancements; exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices.
Participate in vendor meetings, and professional development opportunities to remain current of latest trends.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required preferably in General Business, Management Information Systems or related field. Master's degree preferred.
4+ years of related experience, with 2+ years in a SaaS or financial services technology or related company
Experience in business process modeling and analysis tools strongly preferred.
Knowledgeable in designing and constructing business processes, functions and organizational structures.
Ability to facilitate or contribute to the creation of new business process models that may be used within and across multiple functional areas and manage the inter-dependencies.
Ability to evaluate the short term and long-term business needs, goals and priorities and then consult with the business office to determine how the business process change can support these objectives.
Strong diagnostic, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to identify organizational benefits and risks of proposed business process changes.
Ability to ensure information and technology standards are kept regarding business change requirements and when designing future-state business processes.
Proficient in MS Office suite tools (Word, Excel, Visioetc)
Excellent coordination and communication skills used appropriately to influence the decision-making of individuals and groups at all levels in the organization.
