The BPM Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining BPM solutions in a loan origination and servicing environment as part of a development team. The incumbant will be an active participant in specification gathering and requires strong analytical skills as well as user requirements / development documentation experience. Incumbant will be involved in multiple projects that will run concurrently -- the ability to multi-task along with strong organization skills are a must. In addition to to new development, the incumbant will be responsible for ongoing maintenance support for several small-to-medium legacy applications. This role will also help develop and maintain business reports that support our day to day operations
1.Gather specifications

a. Interview business owners and subject matter experts to obtain information

b. Document specifications in concise and timely manner

c. Interpret and present possible solutions/constraints verbally and in writing to management
2.Developing

a. Adhere to structured programming policies and procedures

b. Build optimized process flows

c. Automate and streamline business reports/dashboards

d. Provide periodic updates to key business metrics
3.Maintenance

a. Maintain required performance and availability standards for newly developed applications in addition to legacy BPM applications

b. Participate in design changes/enhancement planning and implementation for existing BPM applications

c. Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree: Computer Science, Computer Information Systems

  • 3-5 years of business process experience is required, including Visio experience.

  • Ability to adjust to fluctuating work load with the pressure of aggressive deadlines.

  • Ability to present proposed solutions and documentation via Microsoft Office Suite specifically Excel and Powerpoint

  • Proven ability to be self-sufficient and self-motivated

  • Knowledge and skills sufficient to develop and deploy successful BPM solutions

  • This position will support a federal government contract. Applicants must be able to obtain Public Trust security clearance as required of federal government contractors to include a background check conducted by the U.S.

    Government to determine eligibility and suitability for federal contract employment for public trust or sensitive positions. For this level of clearance, applicants must possess U.S.citizenship.

The Accounts Receivable Analyst services the Manager of Single Copy Receivables and business units as needed. The Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for accurate and timely analytical reports and strong internal and external customer service. The Accounts Receivable Analyst promotes productive cooperation between departments to ensure collection of accounts receivable balances. Primary Responsibilities/Tasks * Develops relationships and provides support to the Manager of Single Copy Receivables, Accounting Directors, Director of Billing Operations - Circulation, Credit and Collections (CCC) team and local business unit Gannett Publishing Services (GPS) staff * Closely monitors single copy aging reports and takes effective measures to control past due balances * Liaison to the CCC and local GPS staff regarding all single copy receivable matters * Works closely with the CCC and with local GPS staff to ensure collection of A/R balances * Plans, organizes, tracks, and efficiently completes single copy circulation projects * Closely monitors third party partnership agreement accounts * Assists with the development and implementation of standardized analytical tools and reporting as well as ad hoc reporting as needed * Submits adjustments for approval as needed * Investigates billing discrepancies as needed * Develops and maintains a relationship with the shared service center relating to single copy circulation items such as account reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable, billing and cash receipts, and credit and collections * Provides information to management by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations * Increases productivity by developing automated applications; eliminating duplications; coordinating information requirements * Monitors audit compliance and actively participates during internal audits as needed * Completes other duties as assigned Performance Measures * Actionable analysis and engagement resulting in overall reduction of aging for assigned receivables accounts * Business unit satisfaction * Manager of Single Copy Receivables, Accounting Directors, and Director of Billing Operations Circulation satisfaction * Fulfillment of ad hoc requests * On time and accurate reporting * Fulfill accounting and audit requirements within various tasks * Operational knowledge Required Competencies * Financial analysis and planning prowess * Passion for results * Customer/client orientation * Strong communication at all levels * Ability to drive results and effectively lead team members not in direct span of control * Support multiple business units simultaneously * Teamwork Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities * Business degree (BS or MBA) with 2+ years of financial analysis experience or comparable work experience * Demonstrated customer service * Strong organizational and problem solving skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal and external stakeholders * Experience in a consolidated financial environment Other details * Job Family Business Analysis * Job Function General Administration * Pay Type Salary * 13095 Publishers Dr, Fishers, IN 46038, USA Gannett Co.
