CFC has a need for a Business Process Analyst to join the Loan Operations & Administration team. This is a hybrid position requiring onsite work at our headquarters office in Sterling, VA, as well as optional remote workdays. This position oversees the creation of, and maintenance of, division-level operational procedures, facilitation of operational readiness tasks related to system or process changes, and supports the corporate credit card program, One Card.

As a Business Process Analyst, you will:

  • Develop and update the Portfolio Management Group (PMG) practices and procedures to reflect new and/or changes to policies, products, processes and systems.

  • Create and distribute communications to PMG on updates to new and existing practices and procedures.

  • Assist with maintenance of Portfolio Management Group SharePoint site and participate in CFC corporate SharePoint projects.

  • Support Loan Operations & Administration (LOA) operational readiness for system and process changes by updating department procedures & user guides and providing team training.

  • Identify opportunities and recommendations for process improvements to enhance effectiveness and efficiency in LOA and PMG as well as with the One Card program.

  • Respond to and/or route member inquiries to appropriate party (AVP, U.S. Bank), including troubleshooting card issues, onboarding new accounts, monitoring account maintenance items, and after-hours support.

  • Maintain One Card procedure documents and provide cross-training to staff to ensure coverage to meet member needs.

  • Execute monthly One Card spend reports for accounting and yearly One Card rebate process.

  • Assists with completion of Quality Assurance reviews.

  • Respond to document requests for internal/external audits including Ardmore and One Card.

  • Create test cases and conduct user acceptance testing for PMG loan applications requiring testing for system upgrades.

  • Provide after-hours support for one card, including evening and weekends.

To be successful, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field required.

  • Minimum of three years of related experience required.

  • Advanced skills in preparing clear and concise instructional documentation.

  • Intermediate knowledge of internal controls and process re-engineering.

  • Intermediate understanding of standard commercial lending concepts, practices, and procedures.

  • Basic knowledge of finance and accounting.

  • Basic knowledge of legal instruments and documentation.

  • Basic understanding of information technology and application development life cycle.

  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Excellent collaboration skills.

  • Advanced problem-solving skills.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.

  • Self-starter and ability to work independently.

  • Exceptional relationship management skills.
