Seeking an experienced Business Process Analyst for a long term contract engagement in Milwaukee WI.
Responsibilities include:
  • Define, document, and implement new processes
  • Provide analytical support, and to provide leadership and support to junior staff
  • Understand data flows and how multiple systems are configured and work together to support business processes end to end
  • Create supportive document and training materials to be used as an aid during transition of support of processes
  • Act as PMO Liaison to specific assigned projects to help ensure success
  • Evaluate and interpret new or revised regulation in the form of tariffs, contracts, or rules and regulations as well as other legal regulations issued by state or federal government; identifies and communicates the process, procedure, policy and/or program changes necessary to implement new regulation
  • Utilize Continuous Improvement, Resource Planning and Training to acquire metrics and to determine best format/methodologies to improve efficiencies of teams and control work
Must Haves:
  • 3-5 years of experience in analysis of process, procedure, and systems
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Bachelors degree
Nice to Haves:
  • Experience with working with the design, execution and results reporting for Customer Satisfaction systems
  • Knowledge of gas, electric and steam utility industry
  • Project management, communication, planning and organizing, budgeting and business acumen skills; as well as problem solving leadership and decision making abilities

VIEW JOBS 12/2/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-02T00:00 Position Summary: The Business Process Analyst, reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer. She/he works cross functionally to integrate departmental business processes and procedures to support a high functioning Girl Scout Council. This will incorporate and connect operations with technical system and financial processes. She/he uses the knowledge of process mapping and business process reengineering to analyze current business processes and workflows with the objective of finding out how they can be improved or automated. The analyst will work to implement continuous process improvement initiatives through task forces, process improvement teams, quality assurance measurements, etc. This position also develops and maintains ongoing Council dashboards and reporting processes related to council-wide metrics. Key Responsibilities: A. Business Process Support and Improvements * In concert with the business process owners, the council's departments and their respective directors - identify gaps in business processes, procedures or systems. Document these gaps and work with GSUSA resources to identify and implement solutions and improvements. * Provide feedback to appropriate departments on SOPs, structures, and data management to improve systems and outcome management opportunities. * Facilitate the creation and documentation of current and future business processes and procedures with business process owners. Uses GSUSA best practice business processes, procedures and systems as the foundation for this work. * Test new or altered processes, procedures and applications to ensure accurate results prior to implementation. * Assist departments in applying business processes, procedures and systems to new or changing needs. * Participates in the development of training materials with the business process owners and assists in conducting training and workshops in the use of new and existing business processes and supporting applications systems for the organization. * May be assigned to take a lead role for key business process transformation projects. B. Technical System Support * Serve as a super user of assigned portfolio's support business software applications, and serves as the Tier 1 support, along with department super users and IT Director. * Serve as the primary interface with GSUSA Tier 2 support for national applications. * Resolve user questions on assigned portfolios and ensures submission of unresolved problems to Tier 2 support (GSUSA or SalesForce, as appropriate). * Manage and maintain business application SalesForce support relationships for local applications as/if needed. C. Council Dashboard and Reporting * Create and support Council dashboards and other assigned reporting as needed. * Collaborate with business process owners regarding data and reporting needs and assist with leveraging technology to find a solution. * In conjunction with the IT Director, provide oversight for data quality to ensure the accuracy of dashboard and reporting information. D. General * Utilize standard project management tools, reporting processes and process improvement methodologies. Develop and manage plans and timelines, coordinate across departments, maintain project schedules and reporting. * Performs other duties as assigned. Experience and Skills: Position Requirements: * A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or related field, or a combination of education and directly related experience. * Demonstrated experience with data analysis and reporting. * Business technology expertise and experience with at least one complex business system, preferably Salesforce, (ERP, SAP or the like). CRM user experience highly desirable. * Strong PC and MS office skills, particularly in Excel. * Strong attention to details with the ability to make correlations and identify downstream impacts. * Ability to maintain confidentiality. * Requires excellent interpersonal/communication, analytical and facilitation skills and the ability to negotiation conflict. * Achieve results through strong organizational and time management skills, ability to multi-task, adapt to changing situations, prioritize, and work independently. * Strong team player with the ability to establish credibility with staff; build consensus and achieve goals through influence. * Ability to work in a team environment with staff from diverse backgrounds. * Creative thinking and seeking innovative solutions to complex technical and business problems. * Willingness to subscribe to Girl Scout philosophy and program standards and enroll as a Girl Scout member, which includes paying a nominal annual membership fee. * The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is required to sit at a computer work station for extended periods of time, occasionally required to stand for long periods, and operate office equipment manually. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Full range of body motion including manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
