Overview
Description: Responsible for implementation and monitoring of inventory management of robotic automation technology products and related agreements. Plan and develop inventory control program in proprietary robotic automation technology products including coordinating actions across commodity management, procurement, demand planning and operations to develop, implement, report, and maintain effective inventory controls that align with Brooks' operational goals. Duties include:
Develop global inventory plans in conjunction with Commodity Management Teams, Contract Manufacturers and critical component suppliers to position supply chain organization for flexibility and cost efficiency;
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to implement multi-tier, demand-driven materials management processes to maintain world-class lean supply chain operations;
Use Oracle EBS/Cloud/SQL Server and ASCP to conduct forensic investigations on Inventory problems and provide resolutions to a Worldwide operations team;
Present inventory forecast and accountable for strategy and plans to achieve forecast to C-suite executives.
Define engage and lead global multi-site and multi-function action plans to deliver on global inventory objectives and ensure end results of these programs;
Analyze supply chain performance metrics, and forward-looking health and action plans in cross-functional environment;
Monitor Supply, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) for changes in forecasts and demand fluctuations, and identify changes or determine effects on supply chain activities to ensure project readiness/schedule adherence for implementing inventory programs;
Assess, test, introduce, and maintain tools necessary to ensure adequate stock of inventory per established inventory programs/agreements;
Drive performance metrics to measure and evaluate supply chain performance factors such as delivery times, need dates, external available capacity, and adherence to terms of inventory programs/agreements;
Monitor and analyze information regarding overall supplier performance resulting in driving key actions, change, and accountability with internal and external stakeholders;
Define and maintain contractual KANBAN agreements with an external supply base.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field, and 5 years of experience performing supply chain and inventory planning.
