Business Planning Manager

Eaton's IS VEH VGGP division is currently seeking a Business Planning Manager. This position can be based out of the following Eaton locations: Galesburg, MI, Southfield, MI, Marshall, MI or Beachwood, OH and offers a hybrid working schedule. Relocation assistance and sponsorship are not available for this position. Candidates must be located within a 50-mile radius of the mentioned work locations to be considered. Active-duty Military are exempt from this geographical limitation.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $120075.03 - $176110.04 a year.

What you'll do:

Working directly with Mobility Group business unit leaders, regional presidents, finance, functional leaders and the Mobility Group president, the Business Planning Manager takes complex business strategies and synthesizes the information into easy-to-understand communications. The business planning manager actively engages with leaders from the Mobility Group, Industrial Sector, and corporate leaders to manage content, message and timing of deliverables to support leadership reviews. Deliverables reviewed by Industrial Sector Leadership, investor relations and Eaton senior leadership include New York analyst presentations, strategic planning presentations, and business planning presentations.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Develops the timeline, deliverables and program manages content to support Industrial Sector reviews.

• Supports the senior leadership team and business unit leaders by taking complex business strategies and develops clear communications to deliver business plan awareness and approvals with Industrial Sector and corporate leaders.

• Creates Mobility Group strategic plan summaries including internal PowerPoint presentations to gain approval and disseminate to all employees, as well as a detailed narrative that is provided to the Eaton Board of Directors.

• Works with business unit leaders to aggregate data and analysis for semi-annual strategic topics reviews. Develops compelling presentations to support business status and proposed recommendation for Senior Leadership Committee reviews.

• Delivers Mobility Group succinct and timely responses to Industrial Sector and corporate requests by working with functional and regional leadership.

• Develops frequently asked questions, Mobility Group content and key messages to support leadership in New York analyst investor reviews.

• Establishes strategic planning cadence and manages overall process and deliverables.

• Compiles summary of market and business performance metrics including key wins, competitive announcements, and peer financial performance.

Qualifications:

Basic (required) Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university

• Seven (7+) or more years of relevant work experience building and analyzing complex business strategies that synthesizes information into easy-to-understand communications

• Three (3+) or more years of experience conducting financial analysis especially in the areas of sales growth, profitability, and cost analysis

• Previous experience leveraging PowerBI, PowerPoint, and Excel to develop comprehensive presentations/analysis and recommendations on market trends & conditions

• Must be able to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

• Must currently reside within a 50-mile radius of the listed working locations (Galesburg, MI or Southfield, MI or Marshall, MI or Beachwood, OH) to be considered. Active-duty Military are exempt from this geographical limitation

Preferred Qualifications (not required to be qualified for position):

• MBA or equivalent preferred

• Global experience in working on projects / teams that cross geographic boundaries

• Knowledge of automotive and commercial powertrain system, driveline components and performance objectives, including key market trends and industry drivers

• Experience in Automotive, EV, or Commercial Vehicle product management, product planning, supply chain or sales
