The Modern Life, Search and Devices organization defines the product features, business plans, and go-to-market strategy for Microsoft's consumer products, including Office 365, Surface, Windows, Bing, MSN, and Skype. Within the organization, the Strategy team focuses on driving growth for these multi-billion dollar businesses by working with senior executives to manage, optimize, and augment our product portfolio.

  • Employ a structured approach to solve complex business problems

  • Apply data to deliver insightful analysis of strategic opportunities

  • Assist in the identification, evaluation, and execution of strategic investment / M&A opportunities

  • Project manage and coordinate the end-to-end delivery of projects

  • Build effective relationships with colleagues across organizations and functional groups

  • Possess strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills

  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills

  • 4+ years experience in top-tier strategy consulting or Fortune 100 corporate strategy group

  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA from top tier school preferred

The Cloud Business Operations team in Business Planning serves as the center of launch excellence for Microsoft's commercial business. We are looking for a Channel Specialist to join our growing team responsible for the continuous improvement of our time to market and adherence to launch policies and compliance. This role is an opportunity to drive impact by influencing how we launch product across the portfolio. As a Channel Specialist in the Cloud Business Operations team, you will dive into the details of how we launch product into our catalogs, products and SKUs. You'll serve as the go-to on the team for the best-in-class approach to landing commercial product within the Windows and other commercial ecosystems.
