The Operations Business Systems Analyst/Developer performs a variety of analytics and reporting functions for the Largo Consolidated Manufacturing Center. Partnering across organizations, the candidate will develop and implement data assimilation capabilities, apply statistical techniques to analyze results, and leverage reporting and data visualization tools to turn data into actionable information.

This position requires the ability to prioritize and perform complex tasks within established deadlines. The successful candidate for this assignment must be able to work independently and on project teams in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision using a variety of technologies. Additionally, this position requires a basic understanding of the operations organization including Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) as well as basic business and financial acumen.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Analyze and correlate large, complex data sets and provide information reports to users for further analysis

  • Develop automated reporting solutions using Excel, VBA, Access, SAP, Business Warehouse, Data Visualization Software, and SQL

  • Examine data from various platforms and multiple disparate or integrated data sources, merge structured and unstructured data, and develop and execute analytics reports and visualization tool sets

Required Skills:

Data Analytics and Visualization

  • Demonstrated on-the-job experience integrating and analyzing large, complex data sets

  • Strong data analytics skills with the ability to prepare, process, analyze, and visualize significant amounts of information from multiple data sources while keeping the big picture in mind

  • Experience with data visualization and reporting automation

  • Ability to turn data into information and knowledge to drive targeted actions within Operations Value Streams

Software, Systems, and Tool sets Experience

  • Computer proficiency and demonstrated ability to learn new software applications

  • Advanced Microsoft data analysis capabilities including Excel, VBA, PowerPivot, Access, and SharePoint

  • Experience in using data reporting development and visualization tools including SAP, Business Warehouse, BW Analysis, Power BI, and SQL

Critical Thinking and Problem Solving Skills

  • Demonstrated data-driven mindset, critical thinking, and problem solving skills

  • Self-starter with strong organizational, planning, and execution skills

  • Skilled in multi-tasking and effectively managing multiple projects

Communication and Relationship Skills

  • Effective communicator, able to participate in cross-functional dialog with Operations, IT, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Quality, and Program Management to standardize reporting best practices

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to process and present complex information in a concise and compelling manner to non-technical audiences

  • 2 years applicable experience required

Desired Skills:

  • Experience building and maintaining reporting and analysis solutions in a SAP manufacturing environment.

  • Experience in using data reporting development and visualization tools including Analysis for Office, SAP BEx Analyzer, BEx Query Designer, Web Intelligence, Tableau, Lumira, and Microsoft PowerBI

  • Knowledge of best practices for database administration, data warehousing, security procedures and products.

  • Ability to implement operational automation using scripts

  • Familiarity with scheduling and Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) systems and business systems that support the functional and program areas. Experience in extracting information from MRP systems and business systems and understanding of process flow and information relationships

  • Strong business acumen, ideally in manufacturing operations or finance

  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma

  • Defense Industry Experience

Required Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management or related discipline.

Planner I This is a Planner I position in the Public Health Preparedness Program within the Disease Control and Health Protection Division. This position is funded by the Public Health Preparedness (PHP)/CDC grant and will provide coordination in the areas of preparedness planning, operations, and logistics. This position serves in the capacity of planning and operations for DOH-Pinellas. As such, this position is responsible for coordinating and developing the public health operation and response efforts related to the agency's Emergency Operations Plan. This position requires a Bachelor's Degree. This position serves as an Emergency Operations Planner. This includes: * Reviewing and updating all assigned emergency operations plans, appendices, and annexes. * Developing and conducting internal/external health department exercises and drills related to emergency operations; write After-Action Reports/Improvement Plans (AAR/IP) as needed. * Coordinating with local partners (EM, EMS, PCSB) on countywide public health preparedness issues. * Maintaining up to date contact lists with internal and external partners. * Coordinating health department participation in external exercises with response partners that test internal preparedness and epidemiological processes and procedures. * Coordinating with community groups on strategies for reaching at-risk vulnerable populations during disasters. * PHP TRAIN Administrator (set-up classes, maintain rosters, and run reports). * Team instructor for Employee Onboarding, New Employee Orientation, and other PHP Trainings. * Ensuring Pinellas CHD intranet/internet websites are updated with plans and public preparedness information. * Meets or exceeds SMART performance expectations.
