Job Description:

This position is responsible for all Business performance and management activities within Airbus Americas Procurement and reports to the Vice-President of Procurement.

In close coordination with the VP as well as the AAP Management team and any other key stakeholders of the Procurement organization, the jobholder will be accountable for supporting the regional Procurement governance deployment and continuous execution through project management, business support and performance management activities.

Primary Responsibilities:

1.Business Support: 30%

● Manage weekly and monthly reports e.g. Monthly Regional Dashboard, AAP weekly, Regional Business Reviews, Quarterly Business reviews etc..

● Support the Regional Governance implementation and execution: contribute to KPI definition & evolution, align with all business units and other regions

● Setup and run of visual dashboards on Excel as well as digital tools such as Google Suite.

● Maintain, update & upgrade on demand the team's current excel/GSuites-based tools

● Consolidate data from different Airbus tools in order to analyze & draw conclusions and generate quality, KPIs & dashboards

● Interface with key Airbus stakeholders (both in the US & in Europe) to figure out best practices

2.Business Performance: 40%

● Organize weekly and monthly meeting cycle

● Prepare presentations, dossiers, documents, scorecards etc.

● Ensure that information based on this data is understandable, updated, consistent, synthesized, available and archived

● Assist in coordinating specific meeting attendance or attend on behalf of the Procurement Vice President

● Take initiative in the short absence of the Procurement Vice President, coordinate and delegate work to others when necessary

● Lead transversal transformation projects and improvement initiatives with cross-functional teams

● Oversee the execution of procurement projects, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget

● Organize and manage Team events such as Team Boosters, Communication events, workshops, etc.

● Support the VP Procurement to manage business/team administration topics in conjunction with the various tools such as MyHR, MyPulse, ADP etc.

● Support and drive individual projects across the Procurement function in the areas of strategy and business development within the region

● Enhance continuously AAP governance and maintain management planning

3.Operational Support: 30%

● Support the local Procurement Operational teams (AAPO, AAPC, AAPP, etc.) on site at key suppliers

● Perform regular Gemba at supplier manufacturing sites to review Line of Balance performance, to participate in periodic supplier production review meetings and shop floor tours

● Support crisis and recovery plans with suppliers in case of delivery performances degradation to ensure deliveries are back to Airbus requirements

● Monitor and analyze supplier performance against Airbus industrial ramp-up plans through Key Performance Indicators and conduct deep dives with time bound action plans as necessary by using problem solving tools

● Manage Suppliers' preventive/corrective action plans so achievements are at the expected level in terms of end results

● Review recovery plans, escalate when necessary and coordinate communication

● Identify and mitigate risks to address any potential supply chain disruptions at T1 and T2 suppliers

● Drive continuous improvement of supply chain related performances for deliveries of supplied products

● Contribute to the deployment of Airbus supply chain standards, policies, methods and tools at suppliers

● Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including communication, customer / supplier relation &

meetings, and improvement actions

Additional Responsibilities:

● Support the ARM (Airbus Risk Management) activities within AAP.

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:

Education:

● Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management required

● Masters degree in Aerospace, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management preferred

Experience:

● 2+ years or more experience in the aerospace or automotive industry in supply chain management, continuous improvement and business management

● Operational experience on supplier recovery missions

● Knowledge and experience in supply management, problem solving, risk management and continuous improvement (Lean Six Sigma)

● Prior experience in business performance management and KPI tracking

● Strong data analysis and visualization skills mandatory

● Demonstrated project management skills

● Great command over Google Suite and Microsoft Office especially expertise Google Sheet and Google Slides

● Knowledge of Qlik Sense, SAP and ARM tool is highly recommended
