Summary/Objective

The Business Performance Analyst positon will directly support assigned business initiatives as set forth by the senior leadership team. Initiatives include our Contract Logistics business, QMS and Dynamics / WMS internal support. This position includes data analysis of business performance, and creation and documentation of new business practices. The Business Performance Analyst will communicate and interact with all levels of management and will partner with Operations, Human Resources, Finance, Business Development and Quality.

Essential Functions

  • Oversee Contract Logistics business segment. Work with Purchasing, Order Management and Logistics to satisfy customer requirements.

  • Serve as the Quality Assurance resource for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement.

  • Prepare for internal quality audits (ISO), ensure documentation is current and utilize Quality Management System.

  • Oversee continuous improvement processes, identifying root causes and creating corrective action and measure for effectiveness.

  • Create SQL reports using Dynamics SL and WMS databases.

  • Run month-end reports and special reports as needed.

  • Compile and complete monthly metrics / scorecard according to company standard.

  • Act as liaison between external customers and internal team

Physical Demands / Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

The employee is exposed to forklift traffic. The employee is required to be in PPE: steel toed shoes and safety glasses may be required when on warehouse floor. This position is 80% office environment / 20% warehouse environment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Full Time. Schedule flexibility to work during hours of Operation and for extended or unplanned work hours, including weekends, is required.

Travel

Occasional travel between locations.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Communications or Related field is preferred

  • 2 - 5 years of related experience

  • Advanced computer proficiency with MS Office Suite including PowerPoint

  • Understanding of Microsoft Dynamics SL (SQL & table structure)

  • Experience in data integration

  • Knowledge of WMS system and able to resolve issues

  • Knowledge of ISO requirements and documentation
