Position Summary:

Collaborate with customer business teams to ensure Business Plan forecasts account for current sales trends, promotional estimates and trade budget estimates. Analyze promotional events to ensure flawless execution and efficient promotional spend to maximize results. Provide business leaders recommendations around DPSM to influence business results with the customer.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop an accurate forecast in enterprise planning tool (Promax) based on business plans

  • Effectively manage business plans keeping the Team Leader(TL), Business Development Manager(BDM)/Customer Business Partner(CBP), Business Analyst(BA) and Neenah teams informed of changes and issues

  • Perform analyses and provide strategic perspectives to facilitate problem solving and decision making on business issues

  • Deliver actionable insights to the team by reviewing syndicated data or customer POS

  • Facilitate periodic base volume reviews

  • Participate in periodic business reviews to discuss forecast accuracy, identify issues and build strong plans

  • Drive Trade optimization through accurate reflection of trade spends and reconciliation of deductions/bills


  • Ability to clearly communicate orally and in writing to individuals and groups

  • Ability to adapt and support the organization through times of change

  • Ability to operate and use telephone, computer/laptop and other technological devices/software programs to communicate with other people

  • Ability to proficiently use and perform key functions of Microsoft Excel software program

  • Ability to create professional PowerPoint presentations incorporating data, relevant insights and information, visual aids, charts, tables, graphs and short video clips when appropriate

  • Ability to travel via aircraft, operate and drive motor vehicles for business travel with valid driver license

Minimum Requirements

Education required: Minimum of Bachelor's degree

Experience: Advanced analytical proficiency with at least 1-5 years of experience in category or sales data analysis

Preferred Experience: Experience with Promax system. Knowledge of statistics and quantitative business analysis. Supply chain, business analysis or forecasting experience.

Skills/Competencies: Results, strategy and vision orientation, advanced analytical, data extraction and analysis, trends and insights development, strong oral and written communication, business intuition, relationship builder

Other Skills:
Strong customer focus, prioritization and time management, active listening, ability to work independently

Organizational Relationships

Reports to Senior Team Leader Sales Planning and Execution. Will interact with Sales team TL, BDM/CBP, Category Analysts, Shopper Marketers, BA, Customer Replenishment Analyst, Customer Forecast Analyst, Customer Service Analyst, Production Planning, Supply Chain teams, Order Settlement

Scope of Position

Serve as the key resource for the development of the forecast based on the business plans, collaborate within assigned sales team(s) to develop plans, close gaps and efficiently utilize trade promotion funds

Working Conditions

Travel domestically up to [10%] of the work time. May include prolong periods of sitting, typing, viewing computer/laptop screens, along with occasional bending, reaching, lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, climbing, twisting, stooping and standing.
