The Opportunity:

As the Business Operations, Strategy & Insights you will Lead the Business Analytics, Customer & Market Insights teams for the purpose of developing and executing projects, processes, and implementing specific initiatives and events in support of the Roche Diagnostics Corporation (RDC) business strategy. Responsible for strategic project implementation across RDC. Responsible for planning and directing all strategic priorities and operational activities for the RDC chief executive and on behalf of the leadership team. Focuses on critical issues and required information for the executive team to facilitate efficient decision-making. Acts as a point of contact between local and global senior management and other stakeholders. Provides oversight and guidance to projects of high importance. Additionally, acts as an advisor to the chief executive. Responsible for developing goals to support broad functional objectives. Brings internal and external insights which enable strong and holistic business delivery and impact.

Direct report to the CEO of RDC and a member of the United States Lead Team (USLT). Participates with other leaders to establish strategic plans and objectives. May develop corporate policies and strategies as well as authorize their implementation. Participates in development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs and people for the company. Has in-depth knowledge of the company, business strategies across functional areas. Regularly interacts with executives both internal and external and/or major customers for the purpose of influencing and negotiating.

Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions.

Job Facts:

• Works in partnership with the CEO to develop a strategic vision for RDC in alignment with the diagnostics division

• Develops and executes key strategic initiatives across multiple functions for the Enterprise

• Generates business insights for the enterprise taking into account a holistic view of each business unit's strategy in RDC which drives business impact

• Continuously examines and streamlines processes to ensure we are best positioned to take advantage of market opportunities.

• Facilitation/direction of senior leaders' identification of the areas where they must direct their focus and identifying metrics for success. Revisiting regularly and evaluating progress.

• Participate in/influence industry-related forums. Generate awareness to internal business partners of trends in the industry that may impact sales and product performance.

• Monitoring information flow: Driving data analysis for key strategic projects and decision-making processes in a time sensitive fashion.

• Ensure the Roche quality policy is understood, implemented, and maintained in the organization. Perform the quality planning to drive continuous improvements and changes of the quality system to ensure ongoing effectiveness and efficiency.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience

• Comprehensive knowledge of financial, profitability, and business principles

• Proven experience organizing and directing multiple teams and departments

• Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives

• Proven record of multi-tasking and ability to handle a high-pressure environment with significant timeline pressures.

Preferred:

• MBA preferred

• Experience in leading and working with global teams.

• Proven written and verbal communication skills including presentation and analytical skills

• Proven ability to motivate and influence in a positive manner

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis, IN is $136,000 - $253,800. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
