Job Purpose

The Business Operations Coordinator leads and directs administrative, financial, and operating activities within the Production Department. The function facilitates and oversees business plan development and reporting, manpower calculations and tracking, department budget activities and department reporting requirements.

Key Accountabilities

Leadership

  • Supports the department in the achievement of key business plan initiatives and daily operations

  • Coordinates and oversees budget, manpower and reporting activities.

Budget, Business Planning & Reporting

  • Leads business planning requirements and development for NCM Production Dept. by understanding regional direction, prioritizing, monitoring, and tracking plans.

  • Direct budget planning and management for the departments

  • Coordinates budget reviews with necessary leaders

  • Supports creation of budget of gap analysis

  • Leads the identification of necessary manpower levels based on production plan

  • Create and maintain reporting dashboards and analytics, i.e., performance and progress, to key stakeholders.

  • Leads and coordinates records retention requirements.

  • Leads the creation or updating of required reports for the department.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Minimum Educational Qualifications

No degree required. Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or related field desirable.

Minimum Experience

3-5 years of experience as budget controller or manpower controller

3-5 years experience developing and/or managing business plan themes

Other Job-Specific Skills

Interpersonal skills and ability to incorporate technical requirements.

Organizational skills and attention to detail.

Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with Honda's budget control process and methods

Ability to set clearly defined goals, metrics, key performance indicators, and service level agreements.

Project Management

MS Office suite of software, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Working Conditions

  • General office environment, including ability to use computing equipment and software applications, along with the ability to work remotely and with individuals who may work remotely

  • Must be able to conceptualize data processes and workflows and articulate complex technology processes through self-developed documents and / or direct communication
