The Business Operations Release Manager I is an integral part of the Business Operations Systems team, responsible for organizing, building, and promoting all Systems Team releases in compliance with all policies and procedures. The Business Operations Release Manager also is responsible for the Salesforce environment management, which includes creation and setup of sandboxes and maintenance of the pipeline and data to ensure the highest quality of development and testing is possible.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a working knowledge of the core systems related to the improvement and maintenance of Salesforce (including Copado, OwnBackup, and other tools)

  • Create and maintain the Salesforce sandbox environments ensuring they are consistently seeded with the proper data and have the latest metadata or code

  • Work with the Software Engineers, Test Engineers, and Systems Specialists to automate development, testing, and release processes to ensure consistency of our releases

  • Assist in the development, implementation and testing tasks in different development projects tied to systems and functionality

  • Maintain necessary change control records and comply with established change management policies

  • Assist with release lifecycle strategy and planning of release windows

  • Coordinate and communicate release plans and changes to stakeholders

  • Alongside Enablement, manage the documentation creation and updates related to any release tasks

  • Support and troubleshoot issues relating to deployments with a high level of customer satisfaction and in a timely manner, which includes being available or on-call for off hours releases

  • Participate and contribute to team meetings

  • Support the overall direction and growth of the Business Operations team o Any other task or projects as assigned

  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle process with a focus on the build and release process (Required)

  • Strong attention to detail with experience in creating and executing a plan (Required)

  • 1-2 years' experience working in a cross-functional capacity (Required)

  • 12+ months experience developing enterprise grade software with understanding of testing and quality assurance processes (Preferred)

  • 12+ months experience administering Salesforce or equivalent CRM (Preferred)

  • 12+ months experience working with Dev Ops tools to support CRM systems (Preferred)

  • Experience designing and building scripted automations (Preferred)

  • Working knowledge of the Salesforce platform (Preferred)
