BUSINESS OPERATIONS MANAGER

ALPHARETTA, GA

SUMMARY:

This Business Operations Manager position will be part of the Insights team whose charter is to deliver actionable, data-driven findings that create business value in a standardized process and format across Infor.

The Business Operations Manager will be the main point of contact for Corporate Functions within Infor.This role will work with key contacts in Corporate Infor to understand reporting & dashboard needs, create business requirements, develop report and dashboard wireframes, work with development team members to build out, and collaborate with the business and other supporting organizations to roll out new reports and dashboards. This position involves close interaction within the team and with other organizations, including but not limited to HR, FP&A, Development, Cloud Ops & Support.

The Business Operations Manager is expected to develop relationships with the key stakeholders for the organizations of support and gain an understanding of the organization to be able to develop dashboards that would provide insights to improve performance and drive actions. Job duties are varied and complex, and could cross-over units within the Insights team. Project management and analytical skills

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business or technical discipline

  • Must have 5 or more years of financial or business analysis experience

  • MBA & management experience a plus
    RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Take a lead role and be the point of contact in the design, development, release and subsequent enhancement of new and existing reports and dashboards for Corporate functions

  • Ensure that standard process and formats are implemented across dashboards and that role-based requirements are adequately met to drive awareness and to ensure adoption

  • Work collaboratively with members in Corporate Finance, HR, Cloud Ops and Development to gain an understanding of the different businesses and provide executive-level data analysis

  • Gather requirements including KPIs to build into business requirements and repeatable dashboards

  • Pull together information from several data sources, including existing reports and ad hoc queries, to produce final reporting deliverables in Birst dashboards

  • Lead developers to enhance and maintain existing reports and dashboards

  • Effectively manage dashboard development activities following project management standards to ensure that dashboards are delivered on time, within budget hours and according to agreed business requirements

  • Work with other Insights Team managers on additional projects as needed
    REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Ability to handle multiple projects with changing priorities and meet challenging deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to lead a project team virtually or in remote locations

  • Advanced data analytics, dashboarding and Microsoft Excel skills

  • Experienced in Microsoft PowerPoint

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment

  • Ability to build relationships virtually across multiple functional areas

  • Creative problem solver with a can-do approach

  • Ability to work flexible hours for global coverage as necessary

About the Federal PMO Delivery Operations Business Lead HPE Pointnext is currently seeking highly qualified and motivated individuals for a Federal PMO Delivery Operations Business Lead in Reston, VA or Atlanta, GA. No relocation assistance available. In this role, you will support DoD programs, developing, managing, and controlling Financial models, P&L reports, and cost tracking for Federal program PMOs. In addition, you will help identify and troubleshoot performance and compliance to program targets, SLAs, and profitability targets. You will be responsible for P&L, SLA compliance measurements, and business modeling as necessary to maintain contractual performance. A US Federal Top Secret clearance is required; if you do not currently hold a TS clearance, you must be willing and able to successfully attain one. As a result, US citizenship is also required. For these Federal programs, you will provide program subject matter expert knowledge for delivery; financial and performance planning; and operational problem management. You will understand and lead discussions for a multi-disciplined environment, that includes HPE hardware configurations, multivendor solutions, and various financial and business models used to deliver services to a Federal customer. Further, you must be able to demonstrate the ability to understand how one program's business performance impacts the performance of other programs. As the Federal customer's trusted advisor, you will create and maintain effective customer relationships in order to ensure customer satisfaction.
