The Business operations lead within the EPIU will be responsible for providing operational excellence within the EPIU. As such, the business operations lead will coordinate activities that relate to communication with external and internal stake holders, information management and data base maintenance, meeting effectiveness and financial planning.
The business operations lead will partner effectively with similar functions in Corporate Development, Finance, Legal and R&D. The business operations lead will report to the Head of EPIU.
Tracking and documenting all encounters with external companies and centers of innovation worldwide on behalf of the EPIU.
Ensuring business effectiveness in our interactions with the external ecosystem by demonstrating exceptional organizational skills in meeting planning, agenda coordination, tracking of actions and minutes.
Ensuring effective communication and follow up with internal and external stakeholders of all activities and outcomes within the EPIU including interactions with companies, academic institutions.
Partnering with the EPIU Scientific Ecosystem Analytics lead to ensure effective maintenance of data bases and data presentation through informatics tools and through editorial coordination of the EPIU newsletter.
Providing business effectiveness to ensure that all EPIU projects are executed on time and on budget.
Providing general organizational effectiveness and planning for key EPIU meeting such as BIO, BIO Europe and JP Morgan.
Ensuring excellence in financial planning for the EPIU in partnership with Biogen finance.
2-5 years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology drug discovery and development experience.
Strong experience in project management.
High learning agility, exceptional motivation and strong emotional intelligence to operate effectively within a multidisciplinary and fast pace research ecosystem.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or life sciences (chemistry, biology) with a business administration minor. Project management certification is preferred but not required.
