You will help drive the Ad Platform Ops and Enterprise Engineering team planning and financial processes. You are an energetic self-starter with excellent attention to detail and follow through.
Excellent operational analysis and planning skills; superior data and quantitative analytical skills; previous experience in business planning/analysis. Innovative complex problem-solving skills and careful attention to detail.
Proven excellence with Microsoft Excel, especially use of VLOOKUP and creation of pivot tables and charts. Solid familiarity with other Microsoft Office suite applications. Extraordinary success record in working across multiple organizations and multiple programs.
Exceptional ability to influence across organizational boundaries. Excellent communication (written/verbal), presentation and facilitation skills especially clear articulation of data-driven findings into business benefit/value. Experience presenting to senior management and building consensus. Ability to take the initiative to solve problems, and want to work in a creative and dynamic work environment.
The primary role of the Business Operations Lead is to develop and lead the financial planning processes for hosting expense, contractor and software expense, and then to monitor the execution of these plans, while partnering closely with the Ad Platforms finance teams. In addition, the person will establish processes to ensure hosting capacity meets capacity utilization goals, partnering closely with Apple infrastructure teams and finance teams. In performing this role, the Business Operations Lead is responsible for: - Applying business acumen to understand what's important to hosting demand management and key priorities to deliver
Partnering with Ad Platforms engineering leaders to balance short and long outcomes
Taking initiative to learn, clarify information, close communication gaps, resolve issues, mitigate risks, and keep details running smoothly
Communicating progress across organizational boundaries and levels from individual contributor to senior executive
Helping drive annual and 3-year hosting plans, including forecasting 1stpart datacenter capacity needs and public cloud requirements
Developing and implementing processes and tools to ensure accuracy of hardware forecast and footprint, and to monitor and improve hosting costs and utilization
Providing project management on need-basis, for small to medium size projects
Bachelor's and/or advanced degree; degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business, is preferred but not required
