Position Summary:

This is an opportunity to join a dynamic Company within the Services Sales Organization, supporting the Retail division. Our division provides first-rate services to the world's top retailers, enabled by deep field experience and leading-edge technology.

As the Business Operations and Intelligence Analyst, you will help build the future of retail services sales operations. You will be an integral part of a global sales team that needs your drive and initiative to shift from a consultative sales model to a direct sales model that drives new business for NCR.

You will help enable that shift by building crisp sales dashboards/reports, developing targeted customer intelligence, capturing efficiency gains for the salesforce, and by always pulling out insight to target key challenges and opportunities. Further detail below:

Drive business operations excellence to guide decision making

  • Track sales opportunities from inception to close, ensuring high degree of accuracy in value, timing, and description

  • Summarize sales funnel sufficiency to the salesperson level in near real-time to enable decision makers to course correct if needed or scale best practices

  • Examine data to determine opportunities for better upsell/cross-sell of services (i.e., ensure sales reps are including services sales in all potential opportunities)

  • Develop simple dashboards to drive day-to-day decision making

  • Build methods/processes to rigorously sense check and refine findings

  • Automate routine tasks (via salesforce.com, repeatable queries, etc.)

Develop customer intelligence engine to increase customer conversion rate

  • Locate and leverage data sources to provide customer intelligence (e.g., news queries, IHL, Gartner)

  • Create analyses to understand where we can expand our sales to major customers

  • Drive salesforce response to customer surveys; leverage customer feedback to ensure happy customers and more sales opportunities

  • Educate Services Sales team on customer context before major meetings

Support everyday processes to boost productivity of sales team

  • Process quotes, new customer registrations, and any other sales tasks

  • Track actions and follow-through on salesforce commitments

  • Seek out opportunities to support assigned salespeople

You will work closely with a small team of other business operations colleagues in Serbia, as well as several strategy, business operations, and analytics teammates in the US. You'll also work directly with our global salesforce, with a particular focus on several regions of the world.

Education and experience requirements

  • The ideal candidate will love developing and sustaining process excellence, interacting with the sales force, and engaging on strategy for our customers

  • Self-starter with passion for launching new systems & processes

  • Detail orientation required to fact-check own and others' work

  • Confidence to engage with salesforce and challenge team members when needed

  • Sales / sales support experience a bonus

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • 2 years experience working in an analytical role

  • Strong English language skills a must because of volume of written and verbal communication required

  • Strong data/quantitative computer experience (e.g., excel, SQL, MS Access)

  • Reporting/dashboard Salesforce experience (or strong interest)

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: * Work in conjunction with the General Manager to actively manage key property issues (including capital projects; customer service; refurbishment) * Assist the development of meaningful, achievable hotel budgets and other short and long term hotel strategic goals * Provide effective leadership to the hotel management team and team members to ensure targets are met and exceeded * Respond to audits that are completed by the company to ensure continual improvement is achieved * Plan, direct and coordinate the service delivery of all operational departments in order to meet and exceed guest expectations * Comply and exceed hotel and company Service Standards * Ensure that costs are controlled throughout the operational departments and results are analysed regularly to highlight problem areas and take appropriate action * Manage and develop the Heads of Department to ensure career progression and effective succession planning within the hotel and company * Seek and respond to Guest feedback in order to achieve positive outcomes and high levels of customer satisfaction * Hold regular briefings and communication meetings with the HOD team Candidate Specification/Person Profile * Hospitality qualification, educated to Bachelor's Level desirable. * Extensive hospitality experience, having held a Head of Department post within at least 2-3 positions in addition to a Director of Operations role or Hotel Manager post in a smaller hotel environment. * Sound business acumen. * In depth operational experience. * A finisher; articulates tasks well getting the job done. * Excellent Human Resources skills having the ability to help others find solutions whilst coaching and developing future talent, taking key responsibility for the succession development for Hilton. * Leads by example, displays excellent hosting skills and practices great hospitality. * Accelerates within KPI management areas, displaying daily and weekly control. * Ability to manage employment relations having gained experience in a highly diverse environment. * Liaises with the Business Development and Sales team to ensure strategy is fulfilled on an operational level. * Willing to relocate in the future in order to explore development opportunities within the Hilton group.
