Reporting to the Associate General Manager & Chief Advancement Officer, the Business Operations Consultant is responsible for supporting fiscal, operational, and administrative functions for WOSU Public Media. Provides strategic support and collaborates with WOSU senior management to elevate and progress goals, priorities, and strategic plans.

The Consultant provides supervision over administrative staff including hiring, personnel functions, definition and assignment of duties, and evaluation. This position will assist the senior management team to offer expertise and recommendations on WOSU's strategic and tactical direction.

This position is a highly resourceful team player and will operate with a high degree of independence, decision-making capabilities, judgment, consistency, and relationship building. They must be able to handle and prioritize multiple projects at once, continually exhibit strategic and analytical thinking, and utilize multiple software platforms including, but not limited to, WorkDay, TAS (donor database), Allegiance, ProTrack, and Corporation of Public Broadcasting Integrated Station Information System while demonstrating excellent customer service practices. Develops and maintains strong network with fiscal, legal, operational and administrative staff across the university to advance the mission and goals of WOSU.

Uses substantial judgement and independent decision making to provide complex administrative and operational support to the general manager and associate general manager, WOSU management team, Administration & Planning Fiscal Office.

Effectively manages and anticipates the needs for general manager and associate general manager including coordination and prioritization of calendars and commitments while understanding the value of competing priorities. Coordinates WOSU staff meetings.

At the request of the associate general manager, attends key meetings, records concise and accurate minutes with appropriate distribution. Handles additional administrative duties, including ordering office supplies, scheduling meeting spaces, and special events support.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 6 years of relevant experience required.

Desired Qualifications:

Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable. 8-12 years of relevant experience preferred.

Performs other project and duties as assigned.

Additional Information:

The Targeted Hiring Range for this position is $87,400 - $114,900. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
