Coalition was founded by repeat entrepreneurs, Joshua Motta (Cloudflare) and John Hering (Lookout), with a mission to solve cyber risk. We believe that cyber risk is among the most pervasive risks facing society, and we've built the first holistic solution to it by combining free cyber security tools to help prevent loss, expert response to mitigate it, and up to $10M of insurance coverage to recover from it. Our technology platform encompasses insurance, threat intelligence, patch and vulnerability scanning, DDoS mitigation, ransomware protection, and more. Coalition's team of engineers, data scientists, security researchers, incident responders, and insurance personnel protect customers before, during, and after cyber incidents. Our insurance products are backed by Swiss Re, one of the world's largest (re)insurers, and Argo Group. Our customers are in every industry, and all across the US. We are based in San Francisco, although you'll find some of our team in more exotic places.
If you enjoy solving problems at scale (with lots riding on it) we hope you'll consider joining us.
About the role
Business Operations works across all business teams at Coalition to drive and enable growth of the business. We lead mission critical, cross-functional efforts, deliver objective analysis and insights, and execute on strategic initiatives. You'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of tactical and strategic projects that are critical to the operations and long term growth of Coalition.
The role requires someone who can work on fast-paced, cross-functional projects across our five core business teams: sales, partnerships, customer success, risk engineering, and claims. This will include everything from sales ops and analytics to help scale our sales team to funnel analytics to improve customer conversion to identifying opportunities to improve our loss ratio. This requires someone who is highly analytical and strategic, approaches problems in a structured manner, and is comfortable with ambiguity.
Accordingly, we are looking for a highly talented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high growth environment to join our team. Candidates should have excelled in a start-up environment or demonstrated top quartile performance in a management consulting, investment banking, or private equity environment. We're looking for a proactive individual who takes ownership over initiatives and drives execution.
