Description

Participates in preparing budget, creates and monitors budget statements, assists in designing reports. Monitors budget and general ledger detail for accuracy; identifies variances and reports them to the department leadership; has a complete understanding of the department and company financial policies; creates purchase orders; and processes invoices for payment against purchase order or general expense reimbursement.

Research and develop internal and external communications including presentations, speaking points, correspondence and other written materials. Represents the department, program or project with various level of personnel both internally and externally. Responds to unanticipated complex issues and manages critical and confidential information.

Participates in creating departments targets, preparing job description, screening resumes. Follows up with department staff, to make sure deadlines are kept. Utilizes advanced Microsoft Office applications to design and lay-out presentations and reports.

Administers and tracks expenses, and allocates them to appropriate account. Maintains procedure manuals; ensures appropriate communication to staff of changes in procedures. Communicates (verbal and written) with a wide range of departments, employees, vendors, and physicians; and serves as a liaison on behalf of the department leadership to foster strong working relationships.

Ensures all contents and contact information are up to date. Meet with reporting directors and managers on a regular basis to fully understand existing and pending issues within each team and the applications it supports. Compile dashboards and slide decks with status updates on a regular basis.

Track all current and ongoing projects within the Clinical and Revenue Cycle teams. Understand and communicate all resource needs of the team to the Director of Information Services. Coordinate and execute management meetings.

Compline, manage and maintain each teams budget reforecasts. Process and track all invoices for each team with in Clinical and RCM to ensure they are processed and paid. Serve as a resource in completing and coordinating the completion of various team and hospital goals within IT.

Support the Director of Information Services by coordinating organizational change management and communicate plans to teams appropriately. Provide project leadership as assigned by Director. Demonstrate the ability to be extremely organized and meet deadlines.

Assist in managing vendor relationships and contracts. Unquestionable integrity, credibility and character and demonstrated high moral, ethical. Demonstrate the ability to effectively and efficiently complete tasks and move projects forward.

Participate in conjunction with Director in the development, implementation and monitoring of departmental quality plans. AA/EOE

Qualifications

Required: - Bachelors Degree.

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office package.

  • Ability to organize and think independently with orientation to deadline and detail.

  • Experience supporting more than one executive or manager.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Outstanding coordination, facilitation, consultation and conflict resolution skills

  • Excellent problem solving and decision making skills

  • Outstanding customer-service skills

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationships with peers and constituents at all levels of the organization. Preferred: - Masters degree and five years of secretarial and/or business office experience.

AWS is looking for an experienced Business Operations Manager that will help manage and scale the operational support for our rapidly growing portfolio of work across the world's largest multi-national enterprises. The successful candidate would be passionate about operational excellence, guiding the business to optimize its impact on behalf of customers. The candidate must be detail oriented and tactically focused, but also must demonstrate a capacity to think strategically. Evolutionary and revolutionary ideas must be brought to bear to maintain operational pace with the innovations and value our cloud engineers deliver to our customers every day. This position will be based in Chicago, and up to 20% travel should be expected. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Opportunity pipeline management; work with sales and Professional Services teams involved in proposing, selling and forecasting new business. Coordinate monthly pipeline reviews to ensure efficient execution across the team to sell new projects. * Resource management; help us maximize our available capacity to staff customer engagements. Work closely with practice managers, helping them assess staffing needs across all engagements based on each project's requirements. * Project accounting; ensure complete and accurate project set up in project accounting system consistent with the contract statement of work for all projects. Drive timely entry of billable time and expenses across the team. * Billing/Invoicing/Collections; Ensure billing, accounting and receivables teams all get accurate data feeds to track revenue and collections. * Monthly metrics reporting; collaborate with practice managers and the operations teams to track and report all key performance indicators against annual, quarterly and monthly goals, by vertical. Refresh all management dashboards, regional reports and executive review documents. * Establish baseline metrics/reports to support the development of rapidly growing practices. * Business planning; annual and multi-year set up meeting cadence and working meetings to drive business planning for AWS Professional Services. Coordinate the preparation, agenda, and follow up actions to complete forward looking business plans. * New hire on-boarding/training; track all new hires and ensure they have a great on-boarding experience.
