POSITION SUMMARY

You will be supporting various strategic initiatives to drive growth and unit economics for the commercial organization. You will work on high priority, cross-functional projects with Product Management, Finance, Marketing, Sales and other teams through strategic and long-range business planning and performance management. This candidate should be motivated, agile, with strong time management, project management, technical, and analytical skills.

  • Responsible for quantitative and qualitative analytics for commercial operations

  • Develop KPIs, dashboards, and other program health tracking mechanisms to provide visibility to key stakeholders on large scale programs. This will include working with key stakeholders to define key performance measures, driving program analytics, and supporting broader program management efforts

  • Build, develop and maintain highly collaborative and working relationships with multiple teams across the business to understand available data and identify growth opportunities for the business

  • Develop and communicate strategic plans, scorecards and business solutions through high-impact, executive-level presentations

DESIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • M.S. in economics, applied math, statistics, engineering or other quantitative field or B.S. with demonstrated analytical experience

  • Familiarity with varied statistics-based languages and packages: SQL, R,

  • Salesforce.com experience is strongly preferred

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum BA/BS from an accredited four-year university; STEM background

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Extremely attentive to detail; professional business acumen

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment

  • Strong quantitative skills with the ability to synthesize and distill large amounts of data into action plans

  • Experience with data visualization tool such as Tableau, and Microsoft PowerBI

Reporting to the Director Global Planning & Scheduling, the Business Systems Analyst III assists our global site teams with analysis of all supply chain impacts from the critical business processes of "Sales Quote-to-Cash" and "Product Birth-to-Retirement". Responsibilities: * Support the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes with analysis on: Revenue, Demand Forecasts, Inventory, Risks, Scenario Planning/What if's, Metrics * System Support: Becomes the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on "Quote-to-Cash" & "Product Birth-to-Retirement" processes, creates process documentation, provides training, and preforms audits (IT systems & manual processes). * Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop/ implement solutions. * Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements. * Perform supply chain analysis as assigned. * Develop Dashboards for consolidated view of key metrics. * Automate reporting tools for repeatability. * Manage special projects as assigned and meet deadlines. * Handle multiple tasks under dynamic conditions/constraints requiring teaming across a global team. * Establish as SME in inventory management and forecasting of >$100M of product, across more than 7 global sites. * Production of bi-monthly inventory forecasts, analysis. * Creation of inventory forecasting tools & methods that continual improve the accuracy of our forecasts. * Work with global team to consolidate global inventory data & analysis. * Creation of Excess & Obsolete Inventory analysis. * Detailed measurement and analysis of inventory drivers such as: sales demand volatility, material planning changes, schedule movement, etc. Required Knowledge and Skills: * Ability to analyze trends and research root cause of inventory problems and suggest corrective actions * In-depth knowledge of forecasting methods across supply chain functions (demand, inventory, costs, delivery, quality) * A comprehensive and working knowledge of business systems (e.g., SAP), databases, and other computer applications * Strong interpersonal skills needed to be able to communicate with global teams (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, IT Technical Support, or Others) * Advanced analytical skills * Knowledge of financial systems and how they align with supply chain processes * Ability to work independently with general direction, able to determine specific requirements of each assignment without detailed instruction. * Extensive knowledge of SAP transactions and reports (Plan to Make, MMPP, SD) Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Technical Studies, or Analytics. * Five (5) years of experience in manufacturing, materials management, purchasing or supply chain * Experience with Waterfall charting * Experience with inventory analysis Preferred Qualifications: * MBA * APICS training and certification * Advanced skills with Excel, Tableau, PowerPoint and Access databases * FP&A reporting (Financial Planning & Analysis) * SAP experience with Variant configurator Work Conditions: * General office and manufacturing environment * Minimal travel Omnicell Milpitas CA
