What You Will Do

Nasdaq is looking for an engaging Business Operations Analyst to own the Nasdaq Fund Network (NFN) product and management of requirements across the product development life cycle. The ideal candidate will have experience with data sets and data systems, as well as the ability to provide guidance to new clients and existing customers in the preparation of the requirement documents to ensure that the characteristics of the functionality is well defined, clear, and understood by customers as well as the internal organization.

NFN facilitates the collection and dissemination of performance, NAV, valuation, and strategy-level reference data for over 35,000 investable products to 100 million plus investors. Our product enables improved discoverability, as each product is registered with a unique symbol along with greater transparency and amplified reach. We serve asset managers, financial advisory firms, and market data managers in a fast-paced and high-reaching environment.

Our team's responsibilities

We lead ongoing prioritization of improvements, data collection, and distribution including supervising the operational delivery of the service to clients and works with sales and marketing to ensure alignment of go-to-market strategy. Our team serves as the primary point of contact with clients and ensure client satisfaction.

Your day-to-day:

  • Work with product management and operations team to expand content offering, enhancing data quality, and problem solving

  • Translate raw financial data into valuable outputs: responsible for analyzing the data as well as ongoing maintenance

  • Provide recommendations and vetting for data enhancements, fixes, and discrepancies as well as confirming accuracy

  • Implements data quality rules to ensure that all data sources are consistent and accurate

  • Assist in the day-to-day database administration tasks such as data collection from provided sources

  • Troubleshoot data collection and quality issues

Ability to:

  • Proactively identify and solve problems and incidents of all types

  • Analyze large data sets and transform data into unique insights

  • Handle multiple assignments at once and meet associated deadlines that are important to success

  • Work both independently as well as collaborate on a team

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field highly preferred

  • At least two (2) years of proven experience, preferably in a similar organization

  • A strong grasp of the financial services industry

  • Excellent communications skills

  • Experience working with financial data (preferred)

  • Superior level of attention to detail

  • Fluent in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Willingness to work in early night shift (5 pm - 2 am) and twice a week in our office in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
