Position Summary:

The Sales and Business Operations Department is seeking an enthusiastic, data driven individual for an analyst role. This opportunity will help drive insight into business decisions by transforming data into information. The ideal candidate will have experience interpreting quantitative data to monitor performance, research trends, and develop recommendations.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the Gordian procurement databases to identify new operational trends and relationships

  • Interpret data trends, research patterns, and benchmark procurement data in complex data sets

  • Provide enablement and data support for procurement field sales and sales development teams

  • Monitor performance, enhance and maintain reporting capabilities to optimize operational efficiency

  • Connect data from multiple sources to provide cohesive insight between departments within the company (operations, sales, marketing, and finance) and provide ongoing reports

  • Prepare KPI, metric, and benchmark reporting for JOC client presentations

  • Improve data fidelity through the identification of data gaps or errors and the communication of findings to managers and users; provide recommendations to mitigate data quality issues or enhance consistency

  • Act as primary Data Lead for Sightlines and Healthcare within the Sales and Business Operations Department

  • Create and maintain visual management tools for enterprise sales and operations as a key component of Fortive Business Systems

  • Produce ad hoc reporting for a variety of internal users

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • 2 years of professional experience

  • Advanced Excel technical expertise required

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Experience managing data to create strategic recommendations

  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both internal and external stake holders

  • Self-motivated, capable of managing multiple projects and meeting assigned deadlines

  • Experience with PowerBI or other BI tools ideal, although not required

  • Experience with SalesForce reporting and databases ideal, although not required

  • Familiarity with queries, report writing, and presentation of findings preferred

VIEW JOBS 10/14/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-12T00:00 Description:The Business Unit Integrator (BUI) /Production Control Analyst will work in parallel with task center leads/supervisors to meet daily production requirements to maintain/accelerate schedules through timely delivery of work documents and materials. Responsibilities include the generation of reports providing work document status and material shortages for use by production and other functional teams. An understanding of support function roles is necessary for effective communication to overcome obstacles. The BUI will assist in scheduling/expediting release of work documents and movement of material by means of creating transfer requirements/orders, stock transfers, return to stock, and coordinating bin-to-bin movements. Takes action to identify material non-availability and resolves through allocation verification, transfer requests, borrow/paybacks, or the generation of purchase requisitions. Processes on-site vendor service purchase requisitions. Works with on-site vendor for ordering/receipt of hazardous materials to meet production requirements. Coordinates with Program Office, Back Shops, and Warehouse to resolve material shortages as well as Planning and Over & Above for paperwork corrections. Must be a US Citizen or authorized to work in the US. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of experience with material requirements planning and job order scheduling and dispatching in an Aviation / Aerospace & Defense (A&D) manufacturing environment. In the absence of a Bachelor's Degree, will accept 8 years of material requirements planning and job order scheduling and dispatching in an Aviation / Aerospace & Defense (A&D) manufacturing environment experience. * Short-term/mid-term capacity planning skills * Experience utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. * Proficient in applying Microsoft Office tools (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook). Desired Skills: The following skills are desired but not required: * Warehousing/inventory control experience. * Production Control or Material Requirements Planning (MRP) experience managing a value stream. * Ability to use SAP to process materials and verify data. * Ability to resolve conflict and prioritize requirements. * Experience in facilitating employee/team meetings. * Experience with ordering hazardous materials through the Total Chemical Management Information System (TCMIS). * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to multi-task, prioritize, track, coordinate, with a bias for action in expediting activities to meet critical program requirements. * Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment. * Strong aptitude to learn, analyze, and problem solve.
