What We Offer
The City and County of Denver offers a competitive salary commensurate with education and experience. The salary range for this position is $21.47 - $32.21. We also offer generous benefits for full-time employees which include but are not limited to:

The Facilities, Safety and Security Division (FSS) of Denver Human Services is seeking a highly qualified individual to serve as the Business Operations Administrator for the Facilities, Safety and Security team
The Business Operations Administrator will be tasked with planning and executing a variety of administrative functions as well as projects and programs across the Facilities, Safety, and Security Division.
The Business Operations Administrator for Facilities, Safety, and Security will:
Support the agency Executive Director and be point-of-contact with schedule management and appointments. P-card management/reconciliation for monthly expense reports; serve as a liaison and central point of contact between various sections/divisions, customers such as the DHS Executive office, General Services, Office of Emergency Management, Community Partners and vendors/contractors.
Agency information management. Conduct surveys, compile and analyze trends/data, establish systems for gathering and maintaining information pertinent to the program/functional area, and recommend revisions and/or changes.
Recommend and implement new or revised operational/administrative policies, procedures, requirements, guidelines, and/or new directives and communicate the changes to employees and management.
Create and maintain division sharepoint site, Responsible for leading smaller projects for the division regarding Facilities, Safety & Emergency Management, and Security.
Manage, implement, and monitor department/division specific training activities for the program/functional area including conducting needs assessments, evaluating training needs and effectiveness, and participating in instruction.
Prepare a variety of analytical and operational reports, correspondence, and other documentation and provide operational information and statistical data for management/departmental use and presentations.
Responsible for new hire on-boarding with department leaders, order hardware/software, administrative functions and office logistics supporting various departments as needed
About You
Our ideal candidate has some or all the following experience, skills, and characteristics:
Experience working within public service with a strong community mindset
Efficient organizational skills with priority management and meeting multiple deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, experience communicating with diverse communities
Strong level of demonstrated executive administrative and coordinating experience
Adept with managing and overseeing successful special projects and
Microsoft Office Suite skills including PowerBI
Minimum Qualifications
Education requirement: Bachelor's Degree.
Experience Requirement: Three (3) years of experience administering business operations or operational programs and/or assisting professional/management staff with administrative or operational functions.
Education/Experience Equivalency: One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post-high school education.
Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.
