What We Offer
The City and County of Denver offers a competitive salary commensurate with education and experience. The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000/annually, based on experience and education. We also offer generous benefits for full-time employees which include but are not limited to:

Location
The City and County of Denver supports a hybrid workplace model. Employees work where needed, at a job site several days a week and off-site as needed. Employees must work within the state of Colorado on their off-site days.
What You'll Do
The Denver City Attorney's Office is one of the largest law firms in Colorado, with over 240 attorneys and staff members comprised of paralegals, victim advocates, and other support and supervisory staff members. It may have the most diverse practice of any law firm in Colorado since Denver is a home rule city and county. Clients include the Mayor, City Council, all other elected and appointed officials, all city agencies, departments, boards, commissions, and employees.

We are currently seeking a Business operations Administrator to join the Finance and Business Operations team within the City Attorney's Office. This position will be responsible for the following tasks:
Manages all functions related to the positions' management in Workday (including positions' creation, movement, editing positions' restrictions, etc.; processing terminations, creating job requisitions, move workers tasks, and any other tasks related to position management)
Initiate all HR-related actions in Workday for CAO Sections; Assists Director of Finance and Business Operations with coordination of the CAO's employee recruitment process, in partnership with the City and County of Denver's Office of Human Resources
Assists CAO Sections with coordination of the CAO employee onboarding /offboarding program
Assists City Attorney, Deputy City Attorney, Director of Finance and Business Operations and CAO Sections with CAO personnel records and actions
Helps refine agency-wide policies and trains agency employees on City & Agency-related policies and procedures
Assists with managing agency's continuity of operations plan and record management
Collaborates with OHR to resolve complex issues
Prepares, analyzes, and disseminates a variety of analytical and operational reports, correspondence, and other documentation and provides operational information and statistical data for management/departmental use
Agency-wide Workday timekeeping administration
Plays the role of the Workday Learning Administrator for the agency: ensures completion of mandated trainings, coordinate enrollment in trainings and reporting
Assists with administration of the day-to-day operational activities and functions of the CAO, utilizing a high degree of independent judgment and initiative; coordinating operations with other departments; notifies team members of daily operations and special projects
Performs other duties, as assigned
What You'll Bring
Our ideal candidate is a team player with a passion for public service. In addition, our preferred candidate will have the following:
SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification or equivalent
Expert in Workday
Previous Human Resources experience, particularly in recruiting and onboarding functions
A keen eye for detail and highly skilled in problem-solving complex issues
Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships
Ability to work independently with little guidance
Proactive approach solving issues
Expert Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, SharePoint
Familiarity with Nintex forms
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Required Minimum Qualifications
Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree.
Experience Requirement: Three (3) years of experience administering business operations or operational programs and/or assisting professional/management staff with administrative or operational functions.
Education/Experience Equivalency: One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post-high school education. Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.
