Business Office Specialist
STATUS: Fulltime, 12 month, Benefited
JOB DESCRIPTION: Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB) is seeking applicants for a Business Office Specialist to provide services to DCB students in relation to Financial Aid, Academic Records and providing a supporting role to the Business Office.
This position involves counseling and advising students and families about financial aid while maintaining accurate records and files. Business Office data entry for accounts payable along with scanning, copying, phone and letter communication is involved in fulfilling the job duties.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED: Associate Degree, knowledge in cost accounting, experience in Microsoft Office Suite in particular Excel.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Successful applicant will be required to pass a criminal background check prior to employment.
SALARY: $30,000-$36,400 based on degree and experience. NDUS state benefit package, including 100% full coverage for family health insurance provided by employer.
CLOSING DATE: Screening of applicants will begin May 3, 2024, and continue until a qualified candidate is hired.
