If you are: · A highly organized and detail-oriented individual who derives a great deal of self-satisfaction when all the business aspects of your place-of-business are humming along perfectly · A person who values independent and flexible work conditions because you set challenging goals for yourself and your department and achieve these objectives on time and without the need for constant and overbearing supervision · Someone who understands the importance of cashflow in a small business and will take all necessary measures to collect on overdue receivables · A person who will forge excellent business relationships with the accounting personnel of both our customers and our suppliers · A person who embraces technology and actively seeks new and better ways to get the job done · Someone who possesses excellent verbal and written skills · Energized by a full workload and are skilled at multi-tasking If you have: · A minimum of 5 years experience in Office and Business Management · Working fluency and hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online · Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook You’ll be: · Working directly with our CEO · Responsible for maintaining our general ledger, accounts receivable and accounts payable in QuickBooks · Preparing periodic management reports including financial statement updates and key performance indicators · Supervising Business Management Support Staff · Working directly with our outside banking, utilities, insurance, accounting and payroll partners · Responsible for collecting on overdue receivable and resolving payment disputes with our suppliers · Managing our retirement plan by providing ongoing guidance to participating staff members · Responsible for the proper operation, maintenance and upkeep of our physical plant And in return you’ll receive: A competitive salary Exceptional benefits package Hybrid in-person/remote schedule A support staff Paid time off Health and dental plan Employer matched 401(K)/ Simple plan Great work experience in a team environment A fun culture where work-life balance is valued Regards from our CEO and gratitude from our entire staff Company Description Unitec Distribution Systems is a family-owned uniform, work and career apparel and accessory supplier.
