Job Description Job Description Salary: POSITION SUMMARY As a Business Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team and developing the entire branch operation to drive sustainable growth aligned with the 5-Year Branch Maturity Cycle.

This role focuses on building a profitable, mature branch that impacts 300 lives within your community. You will guide the team through different stages of growth, including startup to maturity, while impacting the lives of job seekers and clients. This position requires a balance of leadership and operational execution to ensure business growth, financial success, and a thriving team culture.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Branch Operations Leadership: Lead branch operations, ensuring sustainable growth in alignment with the Branch Maturity Cycle, which includes the stages from Plains (startup) to Everest (mature, highly profitable branch). Develop a high-performing team that drives profitability and growth, impacting a greater number of lives at each stage of the cycle.

Monitor the progress of the branch through the Plains, Foothills, Rainier, Denali, and Everest stages, aiming to reach milestones such as increasing lives impacted and driving consistent revenue growth. Ensure that the branch complies with legal and industry standards, particularly in recruitment processes. Business and Sales Leadership:

Take full responsibility for driving both top- and bottom-line growth, including business, sales, operational, and team leadership. Grow market share through existing business, personal sales production, and/or by supporting a sales driver. Establish a baseline for growth in line with the appropriate Branch Maturity Cycle and the required sales targets and operational benchmarks:

Plains (0 to 1600 hrs): $1MM in sales, impacting 0-50 lives. Foothills (1601 to 3200 hrs): $2 to $3.5MM in sales, impacting 51-100 lives. Rainier (3201 to 4800 hrs): $3.6MM to $5MM in sales, impacting 101-150 lives.

Denali (4801 to 9999 hrs): $5.5MM to $11MM in sales, impacting 151-300 lives. Everest (10,000 hrs): Over 300 lives impacted with a highly profitable, dominant branch in the market. Team Leadership:

Manage the full cycle of talent acquisition, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new staff to ensure alignment with company goals and culture. Supervise and oversee the daily operations and workflow of the department, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards. Conducts regular, constructive, and timely performance evaluations, providing feedback and coaching to support employee growth and development.

Administer disciplinary actions and oversees the termination process in accordance with company policies, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards. Foster a positive workplace culture that reflects the organization's core values of integrity, innovation, service, and performance. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client and Candidate Management: Conduct field activities to promote visibility, such as distributing marketing materials or placing signage to attract potential clients and candidates. Perform thorough candidate evaluations to assess their skills, qualifications, and cultural fit for client positions while adhering to compliance standards.

Build strong client relationships, ensuring adherence to agreed staffing guidelines and expectations. Manage candidate and client records efficiently, ensuring legal compliance in all hiring and recruitment processes, including drug screenings and background checks. Compliance and Legal Requirements Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) regulations, and other employment laws related to staffing and workplace accommodations.

Ensure non-discriminatory practices in hiring, scheduling, and other staffing operations. Document incidents and conduct investigations with awareness of legal requirements for workplace safety, ADA compliance, and employee rights. Understand and apply legal requirements related to workplace accommodations for employees with disabilities and non-discriminatory hiring practices. REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Communication and Interpersonal Skills Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively in meetings, phone calls, and virtual conferences.

Participate in regular meetings to align strategies and objectives with internal and external teams. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret written information. Social adaptability.

Ability to develop and maintain long-lasting relationships. Strong leadership mentality. Strong interpersonal communication and influencing skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client and candidate relationships.

Communicate effectively in-person, over the phone, and via virtual conferences. Leadership & Customer Service: Demonstrated leadership abilities and a strong customer service mindset.

Ability to handle customer complaints and resolve issues effectively. Organization & Adaptability: Highly organized, with the ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and evolving client needs. Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to assess business performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Ability to analyze sales reports and forecast future growth. Technology and Equipment Proficiency: Handle administrative tasks using office equipment such as computers, phones, and other communication tools.

Proficient in executing sales calls and using technology tools to drive success. Use office equipment, including computers, mobile devices, and other communication tools, to perform job functions effectively while handling proprietary situations and managing sensitive and secure data with the utmost confidentiality and compliance. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite, and other relevant software applications.

Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the light industrial sector, including manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics preferred. Familiarity with staffing industry laws and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS Experience: At least 2 years in a management or leadership role. Proven experience in managing a service-based business and achieving results in a metrics-driven environment.

Experience in driving business growth. Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, marketing, finance, or a related field (preferred). PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Handle administrative tasks using office equipment such as computers, phones, and other communication tools.

Travel as required to meet with clients, attend conferences, and visit branch locations. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and occasionally carry or lift materials up to 50 pounds.
