MU2200 Job Description
The Business Manager will be responsible for management of fiscal budgeting, business and financial activities/functions in support of the mission and goal of the College of Arts and Media. This includes handling daily business operations, travel, payroll and grant and procurement issues. Performs cost analysis; prepares statistical reports; manages human resource activities and audits/manages State and Foundation funds. Serves as administrative liaison with other units and institutions both on and off campus. Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills;
Exemplary customer service;
Experience with budget development and business optimization; knowledge of/experience with incentivized budget models;
Experience working at a university or other academic institution;
Familiarity with Microsoft Suite of products, including Excel.
