Position Overview:
As the Business Manager, you will serve as a key strategic advisor and right-hand person to the executive leadership team. Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including project management, communications, stakeholder engagement, and organizational optimization. You will play a pivotal role in driving initiatives forward, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and fostering collaboration across departments. The Business Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that the business operates efficiently and effectively, acting as both a facilitator and a driver of the organization's strategic agenda.
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:
Strategic Planning: Assist the CEO and other executives in coordinating strategic plans to advance the company's mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth.
Operational Support: Oversee and ensure the implementation of strategic initiatives, often acting as a project manager to ensure that different departments align with the executive's vision.
Communication: Serve as a liaison between top management and other stakeholders, ensuring clarity in communication and consistency in the execution of company policies and strategies.
Meeting and Agenda Management: Prepare for and facilitate meetings and leadership discussions. This often includes defining the agenda, keeping time, ensuring key issues are discussed, and follow-ups.
Problem Solving: Address issues that affect the overall operations of the organization, mediating disputes, and making necessary decisions to foster a productive work environment.
Team Leadership and Development: Build and lead teams, providing mentoring and guidance to staff.
Reporting and Analysis: Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance. Develop reports for management regarding the status of ongoing projects and initiatives.
