Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Business Management Manager 1 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Annapolis, MD.
The qualified applicant will manage an Operating Unit within the Navigation and Maritime Division, Undersea Systems Business Unit. This position reports to the Manager of Business Management and also partners with the MIW Operating Unit Director to develop strategy, report on program performance, and achieve financial goals.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Manage and develop Program Control Analyst (PCA) staff
Lead all aspects of program execution objectives on assigned programs
Solicit, analyze and proactively challenge baseline and schedule inputs/updates as well as recommend workarounds to IPT leads
Conduct Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) and Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSR) audits
Program resource management, including cost estimation, allocation, tracking, and analysis
Subcontractor invoicing and funding
Estimate-at-Complete (EAC) preparation and review
Prepare and present financial data to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecasts.
Compliance and financial reporting
On-going collaboration with the customer and functional teams.
Review of contractual documents
Assistance with contract negotiations
Support of pricing and proposal activities
Close monitoring and analysis of Funding availability, Milestone Billings and Cash collections
Lead the development of Annual Operating Plan (AOP)/Long Range Strategic Planning (LRSP).
Forecasting awards, sales, profit, cash for both programs
Management of Program Earned Value reporting

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of industry related experience in finance, accounting, or program control.
Experience leading a program, project, or personnel
Experience in proposal preparation, BOE preparation and evaluations
Thorough and demonstrated understanding of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) analysis and CDRL deliveries (CFSR, CPR Formats 1-5)
Past experience in establishing a program baseline
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Excel Pivot tables
A current, active Security clearance
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
MBA or CPA certification
Experience with government program budgeting and forecasting, as well as Annual Operating Plan development
Understanding of DOD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, and the FAR
Experience preparing and presenting financial analysis to team and/or management
Strong experience with MPM, SAP, COGNOS
The willingness and ability to travel domestically 10% of the time
A current, active TS security clearance
