Position Description

The CFO Group BL Risk Manager will join the CFO Group Business Line Risk team and lead a multitude of responsibilities supporting the CFO Group's risk management framework.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Manager to help develop new routines and maintain strong risk management practices across the CFO Group. Key responsibilities will focus on identifying, assessing, measuring, mitigating, controlling, monitoring, testing, reporting, and escalating risk across the CFO Group. In addition to performing key risk management activities, the Manager will partner with teams across the CFO Group to coordinate regulatory exams and internal/external audits, seek improvements to the internal control structure, and complete ad hoc projects as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

  • Administer BL Committee processes and develop governance, reporting, and monitoring routines as appropriate to support various CFO Group Committees and Councils

  • Lead the development of BL Governance Procedures and associated inventory, while developing processes to maintain an interactive Pulse library

  • Develop and maintain the BL Risk Framework

  • Provide support and thought leadership for issue identification, remediation, and validation activities

  • Lead risk assessments for CFO Group process owners

  • Build out control identification, monitoring, and testing routines

  • Lead the development of procedural and process documentation and facilitate ongoing updates as required.

  • Coordinate with CFO group leaders to assist with regulatory exams and internal audit reviews

  • Assist and lead various strategic projects as required

  • Provide ad-hoc support to others within BL Risk and the CFO Group on an as-needed basis

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related major; masters or CPA preferred

  • 8+year's prior experience

  • Previous Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Compliance or Audit experience is preferred

  • Attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate and influence effectively across all levels of the organization (both vertically and horizontally)

  • Ability to make recommendations to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Proven ability to simultaneously accomplish multiple tasks, assignments, and prioritize work as needed to meet business needs.

  • Knowledge of internal control development, implementation, and testing preferred

  • Demonstrated experience with process documentation preferred

  • Ability to build strong relationships with multiple business partners in a collaborative and team-oriented manner
