Summary:

Moen is currently in search of students seeking 2019-2020 Internships at our Global HQ's in Cleveland, Ohio (North Olmsted suburb). We have two opportunities with our U.S. Business team that will be full-time summer 2019 and part-time 2020. Students must be attending a College or University in the Cleveland area or w/in daily commuting distance during the academic year.

Our internship program gives students the opportunity to build on their academic skills and gain valuable hands on experience in a global business.

Job Description:

  • Interest in research, market trends, and analysis the why behind marketing and measuring the effectiveness

  • Comfortable with general finance / accounting terminology and or transactions.

  • Coordinate competitive information, investigate new competitive products and assist with market research projects

  • Respond quickly, yet thoroughly and accurately to internal and external customer requests such as image requests, literature requests, sales sample requests and product information

  • Meet established deadlines for assigned projects and proactively inform stakeholders of project status

  • Assemble reports evaluating marketing communications programs with solid metrics

Qualifications

  • Working towards a Bachelors or Masters degree in relevant major (Business, Marketing, Finance, Analytics etc. Must currently be enrolled in a degree program

  • Proficient in Excel (v-lookups and pivot tables)

  • Fast-paced, self-starter, resourceful, problem solver

  • Demonstrates excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

  • Demonstrates resourcefulness as well as team and interpersonal skills to participate in cross-functional teams

  • Able to collaborate and work with various levels of associates

  • Other Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Internship Summary: The Engineering Intern will be responsible for conducting lab tests, analyzing subsequent data and producing reports. In addition, there are opportunities to perform mechanical design work in engineering and producing manufacturing drawings for improvements to lab furnaces and other lab utility systems. The Intern will have opportunities to work at a desk doing engineering and perform physical setup tasks for testing such as piping, electrical, and instrumentation. The internship will start in May of 2019 and end in August 2019 Anticipated Projects Include: * Engineer, design, and create drawings for new flue sections for two cylindrical test furnaces * Setup, conduct tests, and analyze results to determine the NOx performance change when switching from natural gas to propane on industrial burners * Engineer, design, and create drawings for improvements to combustion air ducting network * Improve the boiler-monitor hardware with regards to packaging and reliability * Deploy a modular, customizable notification that can tie into the boiler-monitors and future projects * Scale the data acquisition, storage, and delivery scheme for the SmartTUS * Manage shop-activity Raspberry Pis, improve packaging and refresh rate * Help create and scale a ticketing system to capture engineering inquiries Compétences requises Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
