Business Intelligence Systems Analyst IV (R18-542)

The OUA Business Intelligence Analyst at PGE work with the business Users and leaders, business analysts, product owners and technical staff throughout the company to plan, design, develop, implement, enhance and support the existing OUA data warehouse using the CC&B, MDM and ODM source Application Systems as per the business requirements.

You will support our journey by:

  • Must have prior OUA Analytics knowledge and experience on OBIEE 11G/12C and BI Publisher.

  • Ability to translate requirements from product owner (business analyst) to high-level technical design.

  • Experience developing file transfer processes utilizing FTP and SFPT protocols.

  • Experience in developing the OBIEE Repository (.rpd) at three layers (Physical Layer, Business Model and Mapping Layer & Presentation Layer), Time Series Objects, Interactive Dashboards with drill-down capabilities using global & local filters, Security Setup (groups, access/query/report privileges), configured Analytics Metadata objects (Subject Area, Table, Column), Web Catalog Objects (Dashboard, Pages, Folders, Reports), and scheduling iBots.

  • Design, development and implement dashboards, metrics and scorecards using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE). Provide functional administration for the OBIEE environment.

  • Design, implement, code, test and maintain the ODI jobs and Oracle PL/SQL and Unix Script code and functionality.

  • Knowledge of MDM (Meter Data Management), Mobile Workforce Analytics, Customer/Revenue/Credits & Collection Analytics, NMS (Network Management Systems) & Outage Analytics, Operational Device Analytics, and OUA Exception Analytics

  • Must have knowledge of Python

  • Strong commination skills, good team player and ability to closely work with the business users.

  • Administer and support the day to day activities of the OUA Business intelligence users.

  • Maintain technical knowledge of all current techniques, applicable standards and regulations.

You will bring the following skills to our team:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering Management or equivalent work experience in related discipline.

  • 8+ years of experience with Oracle Business intelligence OUA 11g and above.

  • Hands -on experience with Python and OUA Deployment is required.

  • Deep understanding of dimensional modeling, data warehouse design, data quality assessment, and performance assessment and improvement.

  • Knowledge with Oracle Utilities applications like CC&B, ODM, NMS, OUAE, MWM will be an added plus.

  • Knowledge with Oracle Golden Gate is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team player.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to closely work with business users.
