Business Intelligence Solution Developer

Location: Ongoing opportunities nationwide including Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Indianapolis, Louisville, Miami, Seattle, St. Louis

Centric offers both a local model with minimal travel as well as a national travel model. This role is for those who love to travel and would involve regular travel across the US (primarily, but not limited to, our Centric locations listed above).

Centric Consulting is hiring Business Intelligence Solution Developer for our National Data and Analytics Team

You will design, build and run visualizations

You will sit down with the business and consult them directly on their business goals.

You will create use cases.

You will work with the latest technologies.

Prototyping is also something you will be doing.

This is a mid to senior level full-time/contract opportunity.

What you will do as a Business Intelligence Solution Developer.

You will work with business stakeholders to gather business needs and translate them into operational requirements.

You will facilitate planning sessions, creating testing scenarios, developing testing plans and creating user and system documentation.

You will create testing scenarios and develop test plans.

You will create user and system documentation.

Related, you should be someone with the spirit of an educator and thus gets excited about mentoring and knowledge sharing.

Do you like to travel? Good, because we need someone who likes being on the road. Expect 75% travel.

Qualifications Experience: * Software Engineering practices and Information architecture. * Understanding of Data at rest and Data in Motion. * Understanding of Data Quality and Master Data Management. * Cognos or other reporting frameworks like OBIEE, Business Objects, etc. * Tableau experience is a plus * Understanding of Star Schema and Snow Flake structures. * Oracle database skills including the ability to write complex SQL and stored procedures. Pluses: * Experience with Defect Management (ex. Rally, Jira, ServiceNow). * Experience with SQL clients (ex. TOAD). * Experience with Tableau or Hadoop desirable. * Experience with Version Control (ex. Dimensions, TFS, GitHub).
