What you'll be doing...

The Business Intelligence Manager is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business intelligence concepts and tools, as well as the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

This role is supporting leaders within the Verizon Business Group Digital team and will be responsible for providing opportunity sizing, forecasting and actionable insights for the digital sales funnel.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing business intelligence strategies and solutions.

• Providing proactive and actionable insights to leadership on a regular basis enabling them to make quick evaluations of business needs.

• Working with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data.

• Developing and delivering enhanced reports/visualization of complex analytics.

• Performing regular, ongoing analysis of sales, products and services, KPIs as well as complex, strategic and analytical projects to evaluate and make recommendations around growth, revenue, and profitability initiatives and opportunities.

• Identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement in the use of business intelligence.

• Staying up-to-date on the latest business intelligence trends and technologies.

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field or four or more years of work experience.

• Six or more years of relevant work experience.

• Experience with or strong understanding of business intelligence concepts and tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, SQL, GCP, etc)

• Behavior/predictive analysis and/or data analytics development experience.

• Financial modeling, market analysis, opportunity sizing and forecasting experience.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Basic understanding of digital product management and agile methodologies

• Ability to provide user and technical requirements for analytics needs - data layer, tag management, reporting dimensions and customization needs, etc.

• Familiarity with data visualization software, such as Tableau, Qlik, etc.

• Knowledge of DW data domains; and able to extract data using queries (Teradata SQL).

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
