Summary

• This position will collaborate to assist in the development and review of policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives. Must possess a strong background in data engineering, analytics, emerging technologies, and database administration with a focus on cloud technology, communication, and team leadership. This role is pivotal in advancing the hospital system's data-driven decision-making culture and ensuring the effective use of data for improved patient care and operational excellence.

• This position works under the supervision of the Director of Data and Advanced Analytics and is employed by Mosaic Health Systems.

Duties

• Responsible for oversight of day-to-day operations, including resource management and service delivery ensuring operational efficiency.

• Oversee the design and implementation of data models and analytics solutions

• Work with Data Engineers, Business Intelligence Developers, analysts, and business partners to identify process improvement opportunities and propose system modifications

• Provides coordination of analytic tasks across all Epic applications and oversees project planning and development processes for Clarity, Radar, Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer, Caboodle, and any third-party tools.

• Ensure accessibility and usability of BI solutions for various stakeholders.

• Work with subject matter experts to understand the needs of data consumers.

• Establish and maintain relationships across departments and within the Data & Advanced Analytics and other technology teams to understand strategic priorities and identify opportunities to deliver trusted data.

• Participates in the evaluation of BI utilities and tools while coordinating application and integration configurations needs with other IT teams.

• Develop, coach, mentor, and lead team members for sustained individual and team performance.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or other related area or equivalent background and experience is required.

• Epic CPM; Cogito Project Manager within 180 days of hire is required.

• 4 year's experience working with data warehousing environments, and/or business analytics platforms and experience leading a team of Business Intelligence Developers is required. 2 year's Experience with Epic Cogito collection of analytic tools and 5 year's Experience working with data warehousing environments, and/or business analytics platforms and Experience leading a team of Business Intelligence Developers is preferred.
